For optimum recording on DVD-R d isc, this DVD Video Camera writes control data to the disc in order to automatically ma ke adjustments when it is inserted and ejected accompanying recording.

English VQT0K98 32 Setups This section explains prepa rations for recording - settin g up the DVD Video Camera and ba ttery. Setting Up the DVD Video Camera Holding DVD Video Camera T o use as a Grip Belt Insert your right hand from the bottom of DVD Video Camera up to the base of your thumb.
English VQT0K98 33 T o use as a Grip Belt again 1 Attach the tip of the grip belt to the D VD Video Camera (1). Press down the lock co ver in the direction of the arrow so that the belt may not f all out (2).
English VQT0K98 34 Inserting Battery into Remote Cont rol Insert the provided lithium battery into remote control. 1 Slide the cover to remove it. 2 Insert the lithium battery with the positive R terminal facing up. 3 Slide the cover to close it. Note : The life of lithium battery is approximately one year.

English VQT0K98 36 Viewing Image on LCD Monitor Screen If you open the LCD monitor, you can monitor subje ct image on the LCD screen. 1 Open the LCD monitor. The LCD monitor has a portion where you can hook your finger. Hook t he finger there to open the monitor.
English VQT0K98 37 Closing LCD Monitor Before closing the LCD monitor, be sure to reset it at right angles to the DVD Video Camera. Replace the LCD monitor on the DVD Video Camera with the LCD screen facing inward until a click is heard.
English VQT0K98 38 Setting Date and Time Set the current date and time so that the date and ti me you make a recording can be recorded correctly. The following procedure can also be used to co rrect the date and time you have already set. 1 Turn the DVD Video Camera on.
