Before using 21 VQT1D 97 SD card This unit can be used for recording motion pictures and s till pictures to an SD card. *1 Cannot be guaranteed in operation. The rec ording may suddenly st op during motion picture recording depending on the SD card you use.
Before us ing 22 VQT1 D97 ≥ When the write-protect switch A on SD c ard is locked, no recording, deleting or editing will be possible on the c ard. ∫ About SD cards that you can use for motion picture recording.

24 VQT1 D97 Setup Setup Power supply When this unit is purchased, the battery is not charged. Char ge the battery before using this unit. ¬ Rot ate the mode dial to sele ct OFF. ≥ The battery will not be charged if the power is turned on. ≥ Always use genuine Panasonic batteries ( l 27).

26 VQT1 D97 Setup When the status indi cator is off: ≥ Charging is completed. ≥ When the status indicator do es not flash, reinsert the battery or the AC adaptor . If the status indicator still does not flash, there may be a problem with the battery or the A C adaptor .

Recording 43 VQT1D 97 Recording Before record ing First, format the S D card if one which has been us ed on another device is going to be used for the f irst time on t his unit. ( l 74) W hen the SD c ard is formatted, a ll of the recorded data is deleted.
Recording 44 VQT1 D97 ≥ This unit has lens-protecting glass to prevent drops of water getting in the lens. If there is dirt or drops of water on the lens -protecting glass, w ipe them off before recording. We recomm end using the cleaning cloth. ≥ If there are drops of water on the m icrophone, the recorde d sound will be distor ted.
