7 Getting Started Self Demo Mode EVF or LCD Monitor Note: • Self Demo stops automatically if battery is attached (page 9) and cassette tape is inserted (page 1 1). • Inserting a tape alone (or attaching a partially charged battery) only temporarily stops Self Demo.

9 Getting Started Supplying Power To use battery refresh, insert Battery on AC Adaptor (see steps 1~2 above), then press BATTERY REFRESH. The REFRESH Lamp lights, then goes out when discharge is complete. Battery charging will then start automatically.

15 Getting Started Date and time including leap year are calculated up to DEC 31, 2099. Spring (First Sunday in April) : ahead one hour. Autumn (Last Sunday in October) : back one hour.

25 Special Features Note: • Shutter speed cannot be set to 1/60 if Digital E.I.S. feature is set to ON. • Provide additional halogen or tungsten light for use indoors or in poor light. Fluorescent light degrades picture. • Auto Focus may not function properly if high speed shutter is used in inadequate light.

C Pull the EVF Eyepiece. 2 Remove any lint or dust particles with a soft clean cloth being careful not to scratch the glass surfaces.
