Some of its other features include a calendar, a clock, an al arm c lock, a radio, a music player, and a built-in camera. ■ Access codes Security code The security code (5 to 10 di gits) helps to protect your phone agai nst unauthorized use.

Get started 12 2. Get started ■ SIM card and battery installation Keep all SIM cards out of the reach of small children. For avail ability and information on using SIM card services, contact your SIM ca rd vendor. This may be the service provider, network operator, or another vendor.
Get started 13 gold-colored contacts on the inside of the phone. Gently pres s the SIM card holder into the phone until it clicks into place. 6. Replace the battery by positioning it (with the label side facing up) so the gold-colored contacts match up with those on the phone.
Get started 14 You can use the phone while the charge r is connected. The charging time depends on the charger and the batter y used. For example, charging a BL-4C battery with the AC-4 charger takes a pprox imately 1 hour and 10 minutes while the phone is in the standby mode.
Get started 15 You can use the memory card t o save your multimedia files, such as video clips, sound files, and images, in the Gallery . To remove the memory card, use a finger nail as a lever, place it in the recessed area of the memory card holder and sw in g the holder open.

Gallery 72 1 1. Gallery In this menu, you can manage graphics, im ages, recordings, and tones. These files are arranged in folders. Your phone supports an activation key system to protect acquired content. Always check the delivery terms of any content and activation key before acquiring them, as they may be subject to a fee.
Media 73 12. Media ■ Camera You can take photos or record video clip s with the built-in camera. The camera produces pictures in JPEG format and vide o clips in 3GPP format. The camera lens is on the front of the phone. The color di splay and the mini display on the front of the phone work as a viewfinder.
Media 74 This Nokia device supports an image ca pture resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. The image resolution in these materials may appear different. Push to talk 79 13. Push to talk Push to talk (PTT) over cellular is a tw o-way radio service available over a GSM/ GPRS cellular network (network service). PTT provides direct voice communication. To connect, press the volume up key. You can use PTT to have a conversation wi th one person or with a group of people having compatible devices.
Push to talk 80 When connected to the PTT service, you can make or receive channel calls, group calls, or one-to-one calls. One-to-one calls are calls you make to only one person. Press and hold the volume up key the enti re time you are talking, and hold the phone in front of you so t hat you can see the display.
Push to talk 81 To start a one-to-one call from the list of callback requests you have received, select Callback inbox . Scroll to the contact you want, and pres s the volume up key. Make a PTT call to multiple recipients You can select multiple PTT contacts from the contact list.
