Before transporting the machine , be sure to check that you disconnect the plug from the outlet and remove the line cable. Otherwise , the damaged cable can cause fire , electrical shock or malf unction.

4-6 s endInG f axes Real-time transmission ( non memory tra nsmission) Y our mac hine will simply dial the other fax and when it makes contact, your machine will feed the document thr ough, scanning and transmitting real time • Wit h real time transmission, you can w atch each page a s it is scanned and sent.

4-8 s endInG f axes Review ing or ca nceling commands Y our mac hine can store many “J obs” in its memory . It also keeps track of each command by assigning it a command number , like “C01. ” Delayed commands , redial attempts and current fax transmissions are all s tored in your machine’ s memory and given a comm and number .

4-12 s endInG f axes Broadcast ing The fastest w ay to fax one document t o many recipients is to broadcast it. In an ordinary broadcast, yo u can send faxes as you normally would, exc ept you just add more fax numbers .

Y our mac hine only remembers the day of the month that it is supposed to send a delayed transmission.
4-14 s endInG f axes Batch tra nsmission Batch transmission allows you to store multiple documents in an electronic “basket” throughout the da y and then fax that entire basket to o ne location. T o do this , just tell the ma chine when and where the transmis sion should go.

The machin e will automatically add a prefix and suffix to the fax numbe r you have entered and send i t to the e-mail gatewa y .
