3 1.1 G ENERAL I NSTRUCTIONS Read the instructions and recommendations in these Installation Instructions carefully to ensure proper installation, use and maintenance of the appliance.
4 The technical inf ormation and instr uctions provided herein below are intended f or the installer so that the unit ma y be installed correctly and saf ely .
F or saf ety pur poses, ha ve a competent person carefully check the electrical system in the proper ty , as the manufacturer will not be held liab le for damage caused b y the f ailure to ear th the appliance properly or b y anomalies in the supply of power .
6 The boiler operates with alternating current, as indicated in the technical inf ormation table in section 7, where the maximum absorbed power is also indicated. Make sure that the connections f or the neutral and liv e wires correspond to the indications in the diagram.
7 C ENTRAL H EA TING Detailed recommendations are given in BS 6798:1987 and BS 5449-1:1990, the f ollowing notes are giv en for general guidance . P IPE W ORK : Copper tubing to BS EN 1057:1996 is recommended f or water pipes . Jointing should be either with capillar y soldered or compression fittings.

12 3. D .H.W . ST ORA GE CYLINDER The microSYSTEM can be connected to a storage cylinder (both open-v ented and unv ented) for the production of domestic hot w ater (D .H.W .). Cylinders of diff erent capacities can be used depending on site requirements (see T ABLE 3.

B 4 5 In order to access the inside of the boiler , it is necessar y to unscrew the f astening screws “A” of the control panel located on the lower part of the panel itself. The control panel mov es downward and when pulled f orward rotates on two lateral hinges .
16 The flue connector has two aper tures, readings can be tak en for the temperature of the comb ustion by-products and of the combustion air , as well as of the concentr ations of O 2 and CO 2 , etc. . T o access these intakes it is necessary to unscrew the front screw and remo ve the metal plate with sealing gasket.
The boiler is fitted with the f ollowing de vices (see section 4.2 for ref erences). 1 - I GNITION F AILURE : This indicates ignition f ailure when a flame is not detected within 7 seconds of star ting an ignition sequence. The L.E.D . “F” will illuminate to signal the shutdown status .
18 The boiler can be con ver ted to use either methane (natural) gas (G20) or LPG (G30 - G31) by an A uthorised Service Centre . The operations that must be perf or med are the follo wing: 1. Replace the jets on the main burner (see table in section 5); 2.
19 It is recommended that the follo wing inspections be carried out on the boiler at least once a year: 1 - Check the seals f or the water connections; replace any f aulty seals. 2 - Check the gas seals; replace any faulty gas seals . 3 - Visual check of the entire unit.
