This DVD r ecor der is equipped with a st andard composite (AV) video co nnect ion, S-Video connection, and component (YPBPR/ Y CBCR) video input. Compo nent pr ovides the best picture si gnal, but is not available on all TVs. S-Video pr ovides e x cellent quality , but not as good as component.
Other T V Connections S-Video and C omponent Video connections ca rry only the video si gnal, not audio. To he ar sound when usin g either of these connections, you will also need to make a separ ate audio connection. Y ou c an do this by connecting the r ed and whit e portions of the AV cable but NOT the yellow port ion.
S-V ideo There ar e 2 sets of S- Video connectors f or co nnection with a T V , mo nitor , V CR or other device . Co nnect one end of the S- Video cable to the S- Video out connect ion on the back of the D VD r ecorder , and connect the other end to the S-V ideo in jack on your TV .

Ple ase don’t use dif fer ent br ands or types of batteries tog ether . Don’t use a new and an old batt ery together . If you f ind the r emote dist ance is r educed, ple ase chang e both batteries at the s ame t ime. If the DVD recor der won’t be oper ated for an extended per iod, r emove the b atteries fr om the remot e control.
