4 Saf ety instructions General • Read and k eep the Use & Care Guide! • Electrical installation, if required, should be carried out by qualified pr of essionals. • The machine should only be used for tumble-dr ying as described in these instructions.
5 Child saf ety General Do not allow childr en to pla y with the tumble dr y er . The tumble dr y er has a magnetic catch, allowing the door to be opened fr om the inside. The door has a door-s witch that auto- matically stops the tumble dr y er when the door is opened.

8 A dvice and tips be f ore y ou tumble-dr y Has it been spun? Items to be tumble-dried should be spun at 1000 rpm or faster . Better spinning sav es both energy and drying time. Laundr y labels Materials that can be tumble-dried This symbol means that the material is suit- able for tumble-drying.
9 Iron Dry This programme shuts off the heat once the load is just damp enough for ir oning or pressing. Timed dr y 60 min The Timed dr y programme has a fix ed dr y- ing time and tumble-dries the load for 60 minutes. Air fluff 60 min Use the Air fluff programme when y ou just w ant to refr esh, air or soften up items.
10 7 1 2 Dela y ed Start Select or deselect this option by pr essing the Dela yed Start button. The machine will start the programme 5 hours after you press the selection + Start/Stop button. A lighted red field b y the button indicates that the option has been activ ated.
11 Once dr ying has finished Switch off the main po wer s witch. Remo v e the clothes, and close the door to pre v ent small children fr om climbing into the machine.
12 Consumption v alues F or the consumption v alues giv en below , the follo wing prer equisites apply: T emperature of intak e air : 20 °C . Moisture content of intak e air : 65 %. Dr ying temperature: Normal or low . Element pow er : 1950 W . Bef ore tumble-drying, cotton fabrics ar e spun at 800 and 1600 rpm (long spin).
13 Cleaning the outside of the machine Clean the outside of the machine and the programme panel with a mild cleaner . Do not use any solv ents, as these can damage the machine. Do not hose down or spra y the machine with w ater . Note! Do not allow dust to accumulate ar ound the machine.
14 T roubleshooting The machine will not start Check • that the outer door is properly closed • that the main pow er s witch is pressed • that y ou hav e set the programme correctly • that the Dela yed Start option has not been selected. If so , the time remaining until start will be shown in full hours in the displa y (e.

16 Ser vice T ype plate Bef ore contacting the service division, y ou should find out whether the fault is anything y ou can tak e care of y ourself. See the chapters “T roubleshooting” and “Car e and cleaning”.
17 Installation P ositioning the tumble dr yer The tumble dr y er can be positioned as freestanding or in a stack. Remember that the tumble dr y er produces heat and should theref ore not be located in a room that is too small. If the room is v ery small, dr ying will tak e longer due to the limited quantity of air .
18 Break off tag A on the cup fitted on the right side and tag B on the cup fitted on the left side. Then remov e the paper from the self- adhesive surf ace under the plastic cups. 4 . Fit the plastic cups so that the “tags” mark ed with arro ws ar e against the front edge of the cov er and side edge and press firmly onto the cov er .
19 Connection to e v acuation duct The vent hose must use the shortest and straightest route possible fr om the tumble dr y er to the e v acuation duct. T rim or cut the vent hose if it is too long. If necessar y , the vent hose can be e xtended to a maximum of 8 metres (inner diameter 102 mm).
20 Accessories If the vent hose runs to an outlet in the w all, you can pr e v ent the inflow of cold air by fitting a v entilation grill. This grill can be installed either outside or inside. If there is only one e v acuation duct from the room, a “draught check” must be fitted.
21 Electrical installation The machine must only be connected to an earthed wall sock et. Connection on delivery The machine is supplied as single-phase, 230V , heat output 2500W (see type plate) and has a 16A fuse. Any earth fault fuses must be type A.
22 5 . Ne xt y ou must mo ve the plastic plugs on the upper and low er edges of the door . Use a flat scre wdriv er . 6 . Unscre w the tw o scre ws on the sides of the door , around fiv e millimetres , to allow the door magnet and cov er washer on the inside of the door to be remo v ed.
23 13 . Secure the hinge attachment using the scre ws in the sequence sho wn in the pic- ture . 14 . Replace the scr ew unf astened in point 11. 15 . Replace the lo w er front plate . 9 . Insert the cov er w asher in place of the door magnet. 10 . Insert the screw s so that the door mag- net and cov er washer are held in place .
