12 Majestic Fireplaces ® BR/BC Series 7412944 Installing the Chimney System Start by attaching the first chimney section to the collar on top of the fireplace. Install the pipe as pictured in Figure 16. When you get a good lock, you will hear the pipe clearly snap together .
13 Majestic Fireplaces ® BR/BC Series 7412944 Firestop spacers are not available for nor are they re- quired on vertical walls. DO NOT put any sealant around the area where the outer pipe slides through the firestop spacer . If you seal this area, it may cause a fire hazard.
