EtherFast ® Cable/DSL Routers Connecting Y our Har dware T ogether and Booting Up 1. Before you be gin, make sure that all of y our hard war e is po wer ed off , including your Router , PCs, hubs, switches, and the cable or DSL modem.
3. Connect the networ k cab le from your cab le or DSL modem to the WA N port on your Router’ s rear panel. This is the onl y port that will w ork for your modem connection. 4. Connect the po wer adapter to the Powe r por t on the rear panel of the Router , and then plug the po w er adapter into a pow er outlet.
