Using you r thumbnail, lift the cover to remove. 3. Place the battery in the battery casing with th e metal contacts facing toward t he top of the phone.

User Guide 15 Guide Conventions In this guide, the following conventions are used when describi ng phone features. Select means to press the Lef t soft key , Right softkey or OK key to select an item seen on the display . For example, “Select Me nu ” tells you to physi cally press th e left softkey to cho ose Men u from the display .
16 Power Phone Up 2 Call Features This section describes the basic features rela ted to calls. Power Phone Up • T o turn your phone on, press the End key and wait until the phone display lights up. • T o turn your phone off, press and hold the End key until the phon e plays a s hort musical sound and tu rns off.

26 Customize Contacts Send a Contact vCard 1. From Vi e w A l l , select a contact. 2. At the contact details screen, select the contact name. 3. Select Send as vCard > V ia Bluetooth (to send to a Bluetooth-e nabled device), or To Printe r (to print on a Bluetooth-en abled device).

32 Erase Media Files Erase All Files in a Folder From a media file list, select Options > Erase All > Y es . Note: Y ou can only erase u nlocked fi les. Preloaded files on your phone are alway s locked. Erase All Image Files From Delete All , select Images On ly > Y es to erase all files in the Images folder .

34 Bluetoot h Bluetooth The Bluetooth® wireless tech nology (not available on all phones) enables wireless connectivity with accesso ries such as portable or installed hands- free car kits, headsets, handsets, co mputers, and so on. For details, check wi th your servic e provider .
User Guide 35 Delet e a Devic e Y ou can delete a Bluetooth devic e that you have paired your phone with. 1. From My Devices , highlight a device. 2. Select Options > Delete > Y es . V iew Device Services A Bluetooth devi ce paired with your phone may have more than one service profile (such as Headset, Handsfree, and so on).
36 Convenience Enable Airplane Mode While in an airp lane, it is normally req uired that you tur n off your mobile ph one because it emits RF signals that i nterfere wit h air traffic control. In airpl ane mode, howe ver , your phone does not emit RF signals.

38 Display Display Set W allpaper Y ou can select a wallpaper for your phon e’ s home sc reen. 1. From Set W allpaper , select Camera Pictures , Saved Images , or W allpapers . T o turn off wallpaper , select None . 2. Select a file. Y ou may need to resize or crop the file.

42 Securi ty Security This section descri bes the security features on your phone. Y ou can adjus t these features to prevent access to your personal info rmation. All security features ar e shielded by a four-digit lock code (typically 0000 or th e last 4 digits of your phone number).

46 Manage Received Messages Change the Callback Number 1. When entering the message, select Opt io ns > Msg Settings > Callback Number . 2. Enter yo ur callback nu mber and select OK . 3. Complete your message. Send Messages Later 1. When entering a message, select Opti ons > Msg Settings > Send Later .
User Guide 47 Forward Messages 1. When viewing a receiv ed message, select Opti ons > Forwar d . 2. Enter a number or address. 3. Complete your message and select Send . Reply to all Recipients 1. When viewing a receiv ed message, select Opti ons > Repl y Al l to send y our reply to all the message recipients.
48 Manage Sent Messages Check your V oicemail When you receive a voicemail message, a notification wi th a vo icemail message icon appears at the top o f your screen. • At the voicemail notificatio n, select Call to call your voicemail nu mber and follow the system promp ts to re trieve the message.
User Guide 49 If you continue to enter text afte r this counter reaches 0 , a message se gment ma y be appended. When you reach th e message siz e limit, you are prompted to edit the message or alerted that t he messag e is be ing appended. Note: Appended m essages may n ot be available on all phone s.
50 Message Groups Set Callback Number 1. From Callback Number , enter a new number to change your default callb ack number . 2. Select OK to save the number . Enable Save to Sent From Save to Sent , select Enable d to automatically save outgoing mess ages to the Sent Msgs folder .
