They will ha ve an eff ect only if the drive/amp model is turned on. When y ou change the type of drive/amp model, an appropriate cabinet model is selected automatically .
26 9. UK H30 4 X 12 (UK H30) This models a heavy-duty closed-bac k cabinet containing 30-watt ceramic-magnet speakers , manuf actured in the UK and dating from the late ’60s. 10. UK T75 4 X 12 (UK T75) This 4x12 closed-back cabinet model is a f amous UK-built b lack bo x loaded with f our modern 75-watt ceramic-magnet speak ers.

ACOUSTIC This uses the acoustic guitar modeling technology of the T oneW orks AX10A, con- ve r ting the sound of an electric guitar into the sound of an acoustic guitar . 28 5. AUTO WAH This models an auto wah unit that automatically applies a w ah eff ect according to your pic king dynamics (i.e., the strength with which you pic k the strings). As with the V O X W AH, you can select either V847 or V848 as the wah type.

OCTAVE This models a pedal that generates a pitch one octa v e below the original input, mixing it with the original sound to add thickness. HINT : This type of eff ect only works with single notes; chords will confuse it.
30 D. MOD (M ODULATION ) EFFECTS Here you can select one of 11 modulation-type eff ects. *: This indicates a parameter that you can control from the e xpression pedal. 1. CLASSIC CHORUS (CL CHORS) This models a chorus unit that has two modes (chorus and vibrato), and is best- known f or being built into a guitar amp .

It provides two chorus units, CHO- R US 1 and CHORUS 2, and lets y ou connect the two units not only in ser ies or in parallel, b ut also to synchronize or de-synchroniz e the two LFOs .
32 NO TE: If P2 or P3 is selected, the speed is adjusted b y the SPEED 1 (v alue knob 2). 6. TEXTREM This models the popular tremolo circuit that’ s built into the BLA CK 2x12 model. The SPREAD setting lets you produce a panning eff ect that spreads to left and right.

PITCH SHIFTER (PITCH) This is a pitch shifter with a range of two octa ves up or down, riv aling sophisticated rac k-mounted signal processors. 34 11. TALK MOD This is an env elope controlled talking modulator . The v ocal character will change according to the input from your guitar . HINT : If you assign the MANU AL knob to the expression pedal, y ou’ll be able to control the v ow el sound from the pedal.
