4 Do not supply pow er to the RTS terminals at the rear . These terminals are not designed to accept a power supply . To prolong the ser vice life of the RM-P210 , do not use it or store it in the following places. A place subject to e xtremely high or low temperatures.

13 ADJUSTMENTS FOR GENLOCK OPERA TION Genlocking is required f or a system, which uses an SEG (special effects generator) as the main signal source. REF. : “Example of RM-P210 (Connection 2 units) ” on pag e 9. PREP ARA TIONS AND MAIN FUNCTIONS Preparation 1.
14 The intercom emplo ys the RTS system. If it is required to change this to a 2-wire system, consult y our nearest JVC-authorized service agent. (The modification will then be carried out with charge.) An intercom jac k is provided on the front panel of the RM-P210.
15 FUNCTION KEYS Up to four of the functions listed at the bottom of this pa ge can be assigned to function keys F1 to F4 so that each function can be switc hed on or off by pressing the corresponding ke y . (For the assignment of functions: REF. Items 5H to 5K, “FUNC1” to “FUNC4” in the OPERA TION MENU description on page 25.
16 1. Press the SHUTTER control to activ ate the shutter speed var iation facility , which is indicated by the lighting of the SHUTTER lamp . 2. Tu rn the SHUTTER control to vary the shutter speed. The LCD display sho ws the shutter speed during the adjust- ment operation.
17 IRIS ADJUSTMENT The camera lens iris can be adjusted from the RM-P210. CAMERA ADJUSTMENTS 1. When the lamp in the IRIS AU T O/MANU b utton is not lit, the iris control is set to AU TO mode , in which the ir is le vel is controlled automatically according to the light intensity .
