7 Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be r emov ed befor e using the appliance. K eep all packaging a way fr om children. Y ou ar e advised to k eep all the transit bolts for r e-use in case the machine is to be transported again.
8 Plumbing In Y our new washing machine has been designed to be permanently plumbed in to y our home’ s water supply and drainage system. How ev er , if this is not possible , it ma y be connected to a suitable existing tap with the drain hose discharging into a sink.
9 When discharging into a standpipe ensure that the top of the standpipe is no more than 90cm (35.4'') and no less than 60cm (23.6'') abov e floor lev el. The drain hose ma y be extended to a maximum of 4 metres. An ad ditional drain hose and joining piece is a vailable from y our local Ser vice For ce Centre.
10 Some vibration is inevitable, especially if mounted on a wooden floor . Sprung wooden floors ar e par ticularly susceptible to vibration. For advice, consult a builder .

12 1 Detergent dispenser dra wer 2 Pr ogramme selector dial The pr ogramme selector dial is divided into the following sections: • Cottons • Synthetics • Delicates • W ool / Hand washing • S.
13 Pr ogramme options buttons Depending on the pr ogramme, different options can be selected together . These must be selected after choosing the desired pr ogramme and before pr essing the “ Start/Pause ” button. When these buttons are pr essed, the corresponding pilot lights illuminate.
14 8 Displa y (W ash time) The following pieces of inf ormation are sho wn on the displa y: ● Duration of washing pr ogramme in hours and minutes, after y ou ha ve selected a programme. While the pr ogramme is running (after you ha ve pressed the Start/Pause button), the displa yed time value decreases b y one unit ev er y minute.
15 The wash pr ogramme can be dela yed fr om 30 min - 60 min - 90 min, 2 hours and then by 1 hour up to a maximum of 20 hours by means of this button. If you wish to ad d laundr y to the machine during the dela y time press Start/Pause button to put the machine in pause.
16 Pr o gramme inf ormation Soak This is a special pr ogramme for hea vily soiled laundr y . The machine performs a soak for about 30 min utes at 30°C . P our the detergent for the soak pr ogramme into the compartment marked . At the end of the soak time the machine will stop automatically with water left in the tub .
17 Using the washing machine Befor e the first wash, we r ecommend that you pour 2 litres of water into the main wash compartment of the detergent dra wer in order to activate the ECO valve. Then run a cotton cycle at 90°C , without any laundr y in the machine , to remo ve an y manufacturing residue fr om the drum and tub.
18 6. Select the spin speed or “None” option Press the “ Spin ” button r epeatedly in order to select the desired spin speed or the “None” option. The rele vant light will light up. 7. Select the desir ed options If your laundry is very dir ty , it ma y be advisable to select the “ Pre wash ” option or the “ Intensive ” option.
19 12. Ho w to interrupt a pr ogramme Press the “ Start/P ause ” button to interrupt the pr ogramme which is running, the corr esponding light starts to flash.

24 Maintenance and cleaning Y ou must DISCONNECT the appliance from the electricity supply , before you can carr y out any cleaning or maintenance work . Descaling The water we use normall y contains lime. It is a good idea to periodically use a water softening powder in the machine.

Al wa ys keep a rag nearb y to dr y up spillage of water when remo ving the cov er . • Remov e any objects fr om the pump impeller by r otating it. • Put the cap back on the emergency emptying hose and place the latter back in its seat.

27 Symptom The door will not open Solution ● The water lev el is above the bottom edge of the door . ● The machine is heating the water . ● The drum is turning. In any case the door can be opened onl y when the “Door lock” light has gone out.
