PRECAUTIONS SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING Do not try lighting this appliance without first readi ng the “LIGHTING INSTRUCTIO NS” section of this manual. DO NOT USE ALUMINUM FOIL TO LINE THE GRILL RACKS OR GRILL BOTTOM . This can severely upset combustion air flow or trap excessive heat in the control area.
PRECAUTIONS SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: IMPORTANT! USING THE SIDE BURNER: Inspect the gas supply hose prior to turning the ga s “ON”. If there is evidence of cuts, we ar o r abrasion, it must be replaced prior to use. Do not use the side burner if the odor of gas is pre sent.
*** WARNING *** FOR YOUR SAFTY If you smell gas: 1. Shut off gas to the appliance. 2. Extinguish any open flame. 3. Open lid 4. If odor continues, immediately call your gas supplier or your fire department. FOR YOUR SAFETY 1. Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
SIDE SHELF ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION OF SIDE SHELF • The screws used to attach the side shelf are alr eady screwed into the right side panel (see the figure below). Remove the screws from the right side panel, align with the holes in the side shelf, and then re-screw into the holes on the right side panel of the grill.
PRECAUTIONS When using the grill, do not touch the grill rack, burner grate or immediate surro undings as these areas becom e extremely h ot and could cause burns. Use only dry potholders. Moist or damp potholders on hot surfaces may cau se burns from steam.
SIDE SHELF ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION OF SIDE SHELF • The screws used to attach the side shelf are alr eady screwed into the two-side panel (see the figure below). Remove the screws from the two-side panel, align with the holes in the side shelf, and then re-screw into the holes on the side panels of t he grill.

BA TTER Y & SPICE TRA Y , INDIVIDUAL SHELF ASSEMBL Y • In order to install the b attery , remove the ignition button housing. Please keep the positive pole of the battery facing toward you. Insert the b attery into the housing. Replace the ignition button housing af ter battery is installed .
PROPANE TANK ASSEMBLY ● Attach propane gas tank to regulator inlet fitting by turning the regulat or clockwise as shown in figure below. O P E N C L O S E g 9.
GAS HOOK-UP Only the pressure regulato r and ho se a ssembly supplied with the grill should be used. Any replacement pressure reg ulator an d hose assembly must be specified by the grill manufacturer.
GENERAL Although all gas connections on the grill are leak tested at the factory prior to shipment, a complete gas tightness check must be perfo rme d at the installation site due to possible mishandli ng in shipment, or excessive pre ssure u nkno wingly bein g applied to the unit.

General use of the grill and rotisserie Each main burner is rated at 12,000 BTU/hr. The main grill burners encompass the entire cooking area and are side ported to minimize blockage from falling grease and debris. Above the bu rners are stainless steel radiant (flame tamers).
