5 2. CARE AND MAINTENANCE Battery care ·Y our device is powered by a re chargeable battery . When the charge is low , p lease re-charge the battery . In order to extend the lifetime of t he battery allow the battery to run out of power before recharging.

10 6.1 SIM CARD INST ALLA TION Y our SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card contains your phone number , service details, and phonebook/message memory . It can also be used to store pho ne numbers and personal information. Caution : Do not bend or scratch your SIM card.
11 6.4 SECURITY CODES - PIN code PIN code ( Personal identify number ) prevents unauthorized use of your pho ne. The PIN code usually comes from your service provider along with the SIM card. If you enter the wrong code three times continuously , the PIN code is locked.
12 ·If the PIN code is locked, the alert message for inputting PUK code will display in the screen at power on. ·The phone will search for the network automatically when turned on.
13 8. IDLE SCREEN After power on the first screen t hat appears is the idle screen: The screen shows icons indicating the network na me, signal strength, battery level, time, date and configuration information. Refer to section 4 for icon information.

15 T o browse th e record list press the right soft -key in the idle screen, then Press the up side / downside key to scroll the options. Press send key to dial the selected record. Press left so ft key , you will see the option menu: ·View Press the up / down key to select option view or edit.
16 Press the left sof t key to copy all the reco rds; or press right soft key to exit function. 12.5 S peed dials Y ou can assign a phone number to the keypad numbers from 2 to 9 only . The phone numbers to be assigned to the numeric speed dial keys must first be inserted in the Phone Book using the option “speed dials”.

20 17. T OOLS 17.1 Calculator This feature allows you to do simple calculations. Press the numbers on the keypad to enter the corresponding numbers. Use following direction keys to calculate : *key:.
21 Y ou can edit the SOS SMS’s conte nt. Press # to switch input method when edit the content. 18.3 Auto Alert This option activates the aut omatic SOS dialing. When the phone is dropped or fall s down (loses balance) the bal ance sensor activates t he auomatic SOS dialing.
22 —Power on PIN1 On/Off /Change PIN1 code. T o activate or deactivate PIN code, you must enter the correct PIN code. PIN code ON, the PIN code1 must be entered every time the phone is turned on. After three wrong entries the phone is block ed and can only be unlocked by entering the PUK code.
