T o help y ou mak e the best use of your cooker , PLEASE READ THIS BOOKLET CAREFULL Y . Y our new cooker is guaranteed and will give lasting service. The guar antee is only applicable if the cooker has been installed in accordance with the Installation Instructions.
Please read the precautions below befor e using your cooker . AL W A Y S . . . AL W A YS make sure you understand the controls bef ore using the co oker . AL W A YS check that all controls on the c ook er are turned off after use. AL W A YS stand back when opening an oven door t o allow heat to dis perse.
NEVER . . . NEVER leave childr en unsuper vised where the cooker is installed as all sur faces will get hot during and after use. NEVER allow any one to sit or stand on any part of the cook er . NEVER store items that childr en may attempt to reach abov e the c ooker .
CL OCKF A CE The timer incorporates a 24 hour clock. SYMBOLS A ‘Bell’ symbol will light up when you select a Minute Minder P eriod and will remain lit for the period set. At the end of the Minute Minder Period , the timer will emit an audible tone and the ‘Bell’ symbol will disappear .
Here you can set a time period of up to 10 hours , that will cou nt down. When it reaches zero , the timer will emit an audible tone. For Example: If you set 20 minutes, the audible t one will occur 20 minutes later . SET TING THE MINUTE MINDER Step 1 Ensure the time of day is set correctly .
The hob consists of six ceramic hea ters mounted under a ceramic glass panel. The hob warning neon illuminates if any of the hotpla te controls are op erated .
9 Using the Hob SAFET Y REQUIREMENTS FOR DEEP F A T FRYING 1. Never fill chip pans more than one third full with oil or fa t . 2. Never leav e oil or fat unattended during the heating or cooli ng period. 3. Never heat fat or fry with a lid on the pan.

The grill control is designed to pr ovide variable heat control of either the full width of the grill or just the half .
The left hand oven is a fan ov en where as the right hand oven is a con ventional oven without a fan. The heating of the ov en is achieved by turning t he control knob clockwise to the required temper ature as recommended in the temperature charts.

14 Car e and Cleaning 1. Plastic or nylon pads 2. Household abrasive pow ders and scourers. These may scr atch the sur face. 3. Oven chemical cleaners, aerosols and o ven pads. Caustic cleaners such as these will etch the surface and attack the metal frame.
15 Car e and Cleaning The shelf supports are removable and dishwasher saf e. T o remov e hold the support at the front and pull away from the o ven side, this can then be cleaned in a sink or a dishwasher . When remov ed it allows access to the oven side , which can be cleaned with warm soapy water .
16 Car e and Cleaning Remove the grill pan and the wire grid f ood suppor t, it is best to wash these items immediately after each use to prev ent stains from being burnt o n when used again. Wipe out the Grill compartment, use a fine steel wool soap pad to remov e stubborn stains from the grill deflector plate and the floor of the comp artment.
17 Car e and Cleaning Take particular care not to damage the inner sur face of the doo r inner glass that is coated with a hea t reflec tiv e layer . Do not use scouring pads, or abr asive powder , which will scra tch the glass. Ensure that the glass pan el is not subjected to any sharp mechanical blo ws.
18 Installation Instructions SP ACE FOR FIXING The cooker can be close fitted below hotplat e level. This requires a minimum distance of 1000mm between cupboard units of hotplat e height. When installing next to a tall cupboard , par tition or wall, for a minimum distance of 400mm above hotplat e level, allow a side clearance of at least 65mm.
19 Installation Instructions UNP ACKING Unpack the components from inside the grill and ov ens. Check that the follo wing par ts are present: Grill pan and grid Meat pan Main oven shelves (3) Literature LEVELLING T wo rear wheels and two front f eet are fitted which can be adjusted up or down to set the height (900mm - 915mm) and level the cooker .
20 Installation Instructions F or your own safety , we recommend that your cooker is installed by a qualified electrician. The cooker should be installed in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE regulations. W ARNING! THIS COOKER MUST BE EARTHED .
PROBLEM CHECK Slight odour or small amount of smoke when grill/ov en used for first time. Nothing works. T op oven and grill do not work, Main ov en works. Oven temperatur es too high or too low . Oven lamp does not work. Grill keeps turning on and off .
