9 3. Slide the SIM card holder downw ard to unlock it, then lightly flip it open. 4. Pry open the memor y card holder . 5. Inser t the micro SD card and the SIM car d into the respective card holders , with their gold contacts facing down. ( The cut-off corner of the SIM card should match the cut-off corner in the SIM card slot).
10 Install and charge the battery New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before y ou start using your device, it is recommended that you install and charge the batt ery.
11 Check the battery power • T ap the batter y level icon ( ) on the T oday screen. The Power Settings screen will then open where you can see the current ba ttery power level. Battery power indicator When the battery power gets very low , a warning message will be displayed.
12 T urn on your P ocket PC Phone Press POWER t o turn on your device. When you turn on your device for the first time, a Quick Start Wizard will guide y ou through the screen calibration pr ocess and the setup of regional settings , date and time, passw ord, Outlook e-mail, and POP3/IMAP4 e-mail accounts.
13 4. Making a Call Like a standard mobile phone, y ou can use your device to make, r eceive , and keep track of phone calls and send SMS messages. The Phone screen Fr om the Phone screen, you can acc ess Call History, Speed Dial, and P hone settings.
14 5. Synchr onizing Outlook Information Using Microsoft® ActiveSync®, you can synchroniz e information on your device with inf ormation on your PC, such as Outlook content. A ctiveSync is already installed on your devic e, but you need to install it on your PC if you don ’t already have it.

16 6. Setting Up E-mail Acc ounts The E-mail Setup Wizard makes it easy and simple t o set up your Outlook e-mail and POP3/IMAP4 accounts on your devic e. Set up e -mail accounts using E-mail Setup Wizard 1. T ap Star t > Messaging . 2. T ap Menu > T ools > New Account t o access the E-mail Setup Wizard .
17 Set up a POP3/IMAP4 e -mail accoun t Set up a POP3 or IMAP4 e-mail account on your device if you hav e an e-mail account with an Internet service provider (ISP) or an account that you acc ess using a VPN server connection (typically a work account).
18 7. Sending a Message Y our device is capable of sending and receiving E-mail, SMS, and MMS messages as long as it is connected to the network. Although you can send text messages (SMS) to only mobile phone numbers, MMS messages can be sent to both mobile phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
19 8. Brow sing the Internet Y ou can set up connections to the Internet or to a corporate network to bro wse the Internet. The pre-loaded browser , Internet Explorer Mobile , is a full-featured Internet brow ser , and optimized for use on your device .
20 9. Using the C amera T ak ing photos and recor ding video clips along with audio is easy with your device ’ s built-in camera. Launch the camera • Press the CAMERA button on y our device; or • T ap Star t > Progr ams > Camera ; or • T ap Star t > Progr ams > Pictures & Videos , then tap the Camera icon.
21 10. Using P ictures & V ideos The Pictures & Videos program collects, organizes, and sorts all of your captured images and video clips on your device.
22 Play videos 1. T ap Star t > Progr ams > Pictures & Videos . By default, the c ontents of the My Pictures folder will be shown. 2. T o find the video clips that you captured, tap the down arr ow ( ) next to the My Pictures folder and tap My Documents.

T ap the Input Selec tor arrow (that appears next to the Input P anel icon) to open a menu where you can select a text input method and customize input options.
