User’ s Guide 3–1 3 Setting Up the Monitor Before Y ou Begin 1. Unpack the monitor . Make sure all contents are included. Store the boxes. 2. T urn off the computer , and other attached devices.

Place the monitor in a convenient, well-ventilated location near your computer . If the monitor will be installed on a: ■ Desktop or table, see “Placing the Monitor on a Desktop” for your monitor type.

Fo r more precise adjustments of VGA input, run the Auto-Adjus tment software on the CD.
