A diagram located under the cover of the Printer shows the feed path for print media. Simply lift the cover of the Printer from the right-hand side for installation instructions.

If the Printer does not allow you to enter as many characters as you need, try backing up with the arrow keys and change the font size.

This chapter explains some of the basic programming commands that are required when writing programs to generate label formats.

DMX 400/430 Operator’s Manual 75 ♦ Maintenance 6.0 Cleaning the Printer Interior and Exterior • Interior During normal operation dust particles from label stock can build up inside the Printer. To prevent build-up, use a soft bristle brush or vacuum cleaner as needed.
Maintenance 76 DMX 400/430 Operator’s Manual 6.1 Cleaning the Printhead The Printhead should be cleaned on an ‘as needed’ basis. To determine when to clean the Printhead look for characters or bar codes that appear light or faded, or labels that contain spots or light streaks.
