13 c) WV Diagnosis : Check that wat er enter s the wat er tank. If not, check that the wat er supply line shut-of f val v e is open and screens or e xt ernal lter s are clear . Check f or 1 1 5V A C at CB C2 (BK) to neutral (W) and CB A2 (V) to neutral (W).

16 b) HGV Diagnosis : If Comp is energiz ed and ev aporator is not w arming, chec k that HGV energiz es and opens. If not, check f or 1 1 5V AC at CB C1 (BR) t o neutral (W) and CB B1 (P) to neutr al (W). If 1 1 5V A C is pr esent at CB C1 (BR) to neutr al (W) and not at CB B1 (P) to neutr al (W), r eplace CB .
17 7) Shutdown. W hen the appliance is running, hold ice in contact with the thermostatic bulb . BC s witch opens within 1 0 sec., shut ting down the appliance. BC is f actor y set, and generall y no adjustment is r equir ed. Howe ver , adjustment ma y be needed in some conditions, par ticularly at higher altitude locations .

29 6) A liquid charge is r ecommended when charging an R-1 34a sy stem. Place the ser vice cylinder on the scales; if the ser vice cylinder is not equipped with a dip tube, in v er t the ser vice cylinder , then place it on the scales. Open the high-side val v e on the gauge manif old.
