31 English Setups This section explains preparations for recording - setting up the DVD video camera/recorder and battery . Setting Up the DVD V i deo Camera/Recorder HOLDING D VD VIDEO CAMERA/RECORDER Insert your right hand fr om the bottom of DVD video camera/r ecor der up to the base of your thumb.
English 32 ATTACHING SHOULDER STRAP ATTACHING LENS CAP 1 Attach the sho rter end of lens cap string to the lens cap. 2 Attach the longer end of lens cap string to the attachment hole of DVD v id eo camera/ rec ord e r . 3 Push the both sides of ca p inward and attach it over the lens.

English 44 Inserting and Removing Disc INSERTING DIS C 1 Press down the DISC EJECT button once and release it. A few moments after t he ACCESS/PC indicator blinks, the cover of disc inser tion block will open slightly . 2 Gently open the cover by hand until it stops.
English 45 Note : • Disc cannot be inserted or removed unle ss a charged battery or AC adapter/c harger is connected to the D VD video camera/recorder . • If a discharged battery is used, the disc cannot be insert ed or remov ed: Connect a ch arged battery or AC adapter/charger t o the D VD video camera/recorder .
