WORLDWIDE EXCL USIVITY Filtration, drainage and automatic storage of oil/fat Oléoclean is fitted with an e xclusive and patented system for filtration and automatic drainage, suitable for most types of oils and fats used for cooking. Thanks to the OIL BO X container, you can store your oil or fat and keep it until you next w ant to use it.
Position the cord to the right side in the cord channel. T urn the oil/fat container's drain button anti-clockwise to the closed position - Fig. and slide the empty container in the fryer . F ollow the diagram sho wn on the underside of the bo wl.
Lowering the basket When the oil has reached the right temperature, the light goes out. Press on the basket release b utton (1) . Slo wly fold back the handle fully into its slot (2) , gently lowering the food into the hot oil - Fig. Do not push on the raising/lo wering handle.
Outside of the appliance Before taking the container out, make sure that the drain button is in the closed position . W ait at least 2 hours before taking the full container out of the appliance. T ake out the container - Fig. Carry the container with both hands.
Y ou can clean your bo wl in the dishwasher . Be careful not to damage the coating with the racks in the dishwasher . A void distorting your bo wl (particularly the outsides) through knocks or a fall. T o retain the non-stick qualities for as long as possible, do not use metal tools.
Cooking times The cooking times and the quantities of fat ar e only a guide, the y may vary depending on quantities and personal taste. F or thic ker foods (marked with an asterisk) and when cooking with 1 litr e of oil, turn the food halfway thr ough frying to ensure e ven cooking on both sides.
If your fryer is not working correctly Problems and possible causes The fryer is not working -The appliance is not plugged in. -The thermostat button is in the off position ( 0 ). -The control panel is wrongly inserted. -The fryer was switched on without any oil or fat in the bowl.
The bowl does not drain -The temperature of the fat is still too high. -The drain button is not on the open position . -The bowl is wrongly positioned. -The filter grid is blocked or clogged. -The oil/fat container is set or solidified. Oil leaks -The drain valve is not in place.
