28 Information on D VD r ecording Recording Information This D VD recorder can r ecord to D VD-R and D VD-R W discs. When recor ding, you will need to select a recor ding format between Video mode and VR mode depending on the disc format. The disc fo rmat for D VD-R is alwa ys “Video format, ” so a r ecor ding format will be “Video mode”.

Settings for the r ecording format to a b lank disc 30 Fo rmatting a disc Recording When inserting a blank disc , the D VD recorder starts to initialize the blank disc. After that, you can r ecord to the disc with the recor ding format selected in SETUP menu.
