6 Ensure that you s upport the gri ll pan when it is in the withdr awn or partial ly withdrawn positi on. Ensure that all vents are lef t unobstructe d to ensure vent ilation of the oven . You must ensure th at the gril l control is in the 'OFF ' position when the timer control has been set for automatic cooking.

9 HOW TO FINISH UNPACKING · Place packed ap pliance next to the c abinet i n which it will be ins talled. · Remove the appliance pack ing except f or bottom tray wh ic h sho uld be left in posi tion until the applianc e is read y to be fitted into its c abinet.

20 HINTS AND TIPS · In order to becom e acquainted with the perform ance of the Du al Grill it is ad visable to check food regularl y when gri lling. · Food sho uld be thor oughly dr ied before grillin g to minim ise splashing. Brush le an meats and fish lightl y with a little oil or melted butter to k eep them m oist during cooking.
21 USES OF THE T OP OVEN The top oven is the sm aller of the two ovens. It is heate d by elem ents in the top and bottom of the ov en. It is designed f or cook ing smaller quantit ies of food. I t gives es peciall y go od resu lts if used to cook fr uit cak es, sweet or savour y flans or qu iche.
22 HINTS AND TIPS · T here should alwa y s be at least 2.5cm (1”) between the top of the food and the elem ent. This gives best cook ing resu lts and al lows room for r ise in yeast m ixtures, Y ork shire puddings etc. W hen cook ing cakes, pas try, scones, bre ad etc.
23 USES OF THE FA N OVEN PREHE A TING The fan oven quic kly reaches its tem perature, so it is not us ually nec essary to pr eheat the o ven. W ithout preheati ng however, you ma y find you need to ad d an extra 5 – 10 m inutes o n the r ecomm ended cook ing tim es.

DO NOT try to c lean the foil which is ins ide the door. The foil is there to help keep the d oor cool, if it is dam aged it will not work .
