3- ENG D27918 IMPORT ANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read Operation Manual. Do not operate equipment until you have read Operation Manual for Safety , Assembly , Operation, and Maintenance Instructions.
4- ENG D27918 • Fuel or oil can leak or spill and could result in fir e or breathing hazard, serious injury or death can result. Fuel or oil leaks will damage carpet, paint or other surfaces in vehicles or trailers.
5- ENG D27918 • Reactive force of spray will cause gun/wand to move, and could cause the operator to slip or fall, or misdirect the spray . Improper contr ol of gun/wand can result in injuries to self and others. • Do not overreach or stand on an unstable support.
6- ENG D27918 The powerful spray from your pr essure washer is capable of causing damage to surfaces such as wood, glass, automobile paint, auto stripping and trim, and delicate objects such as flowers and shrubs.

8- ENG D27918 3. Connect wand to gun. Tighten securely . 2. Place handle assembly onto frame and connect handle to frame. NOTE: Knobs are assembled to the outside of frame. ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 1. Remove cleaning solution tanks from frame assembly .
9- ENG D27918 c. Place grooves in accessories panel assembly onto scr ews and slide panel assembly into place. d. Place scr ews (removed earlier) into the top holes and secure accessories panel assembly to handles. Do not overtighten. Screws 4. Attach high pressur e hose to gun.
10- ENG D27918 6. Reinstall cleaning solution tanks. Tilt cleaning solution tanks toward engine, slide onto handles, and snap into place. 7. Attach cleaning solution hose to barb fitting on control valve located at the rear of unit. 8. Add engine oil (supplied) to engine.
11- ENG D27918 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS BASIC ELEMENTS OF A PRESSURE WASHER High Pressur e Pump (located inside the shroud) : Increases the pr essure of the water supply . Engine: Drives the high pressur e pump. High Pressur e Hose: Carries the pressurized water from the pump to the gun and wand.
12- ENG D27918 BASIC ELEMENTS OF ENGINE Refer to the engine manual for location and operation of engine controls. Choke Control: Opens and closes carbur etor choke valve Throttle Contr ol Lever: Controls engine speed. Fuel V alve Lever : Opens/closes connection between fuel tank and carburetor .
13- ENG D27918 HOW TO USE SPRA Y WAND: Y our pr essure washer is equipped with a multi-adjustable spray wand with both high and low pressur e settings. The high pressure setting is for cleaning and rinsing, the low pressur e setting is for applying cleaning solutions to surfaces.
14- ENG D27918 HOW TO USE THE DUAL T ANK CLEANING SYSTEM NOTE: Use only soaps and cleaning solutions designed for pressur e washer use. Do not use bleach. T o apply cleaning solutions: 1. Make sur e cleaning solution tanks are assembled and all hoses are connected.
15- ENG D27918 READ AND UNDERST AND ALL WARNINGS BEFORE ST ARTING UNIT When using the high pr essur e setting, DO NOT allow the high pressur e spray to come in contact with unprotected skin, eyes, or with any pets or animals. Serious injury can occur .
16- ENG D27918 4. Connect water source to pump inlet. NOTE: W ater source must provide a minimum of 5 gallons per minute at 20 p.s.i. 5. Connect high pressur e hose to pump outlet. 6. If applying a cleaning solution , see How T o Use the Dual Cleaning Solution System in Operation section of this manual.
d. Before r econnecting cleaning solution hose to chemical injector barb fitting make sure that any r emaining cleaning solution has been completely drained from the cleaning solution hose. T o rinse chemical using cleaning solution system tank a. T ur n control valve knob arr ow to the down (off) position.
18- ENG D27918 1. Shut of f the pressure washer and turn off the water supply . 2. Disconnect spark plug wir e to insure the unit will not start while performing maintenance. 3. Pull trigger on gun handle to r elieve any water pressure. 4. Disconnect the wand fr om the gun.
19- ENG D27918 ENGINE Consult the Engine Owners Manual for the manufacturer's r ecommendations for storage. PUMP 1. Drain all water from high pr essure hose , coil it, and store it in cradle of the pressur e washer handle.
20- ENG D27918 DUAL T ANK CLEANING SYSTEM 1. T urn control valve knob to the down (off) position. 2. Remove cleaning solution hose at chemical injector and pull thr ough rear shroud. 3. Place end of cleaning solution hose into a suitable container to drain cleaning solution.
21- ENG D27918 TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE PROBLEM Engine will not start (see Engine Manual for further engine troubleshooting) No or low pressur e (initial use) CAUSE CORRECTION No fuel. Add Fuel. Pressur e builds up after two pulls on the recoil starter or after initial use.
22- ENG D27918 W ater leaking at pump W ater leaking at gun/wand connection No or low pressur e (after period of normal use) PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTION W and not in low pressure. See How to Use W and paragraph in the Operation Section. Screen on end of chemical injector rinsing hose not in water Clean filter .
