8 Using the But tons Powe r Use the Po wer bu tton to turn t he PN - 6 0 on and of f, lock the but tons, o r to change th e backli ght sett ings. T o turn on th e devic e, press and h old the Pow er but ton until t he Welc ome scre en disp lays.

13 Using the SPO T Communicator Th e SPOT S atellite C ommunic ator has t wo but tons and v e li gh t ind icator s that provi de acc ess to power, the SOS message, and devi ce status infor mation. I t can op erate alone t o send emerg ency me ssa ges whe n the PN - 6 0 w is not avail able.
