2 DANGER • FOR OUTDOOR USE ONL Y . NEVER operate grill in enclosed areas, as this could lead to gas accumulating from a leak, causing an explosion or a carbon monoxide buildup which could result in injury or death. DO NOT use in garages, breezeways, sheds or any enclosed area.

4 Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords must be used with care. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord must be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the exten- sion cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
5 DANGER • DO NOT insert any foreign object s into the valve outlet. Y ou may damage the valve. A damaged valve can cause a leak, which could result in explosion, fire, severe per- sonal injury or death.
W ARNING Handle a full cylinder with care. Gas is under high pressure. DANGER • NEVER store a spare L.P . gas supply cylinder under the grill body or inside grill enclosure or in the vicinity of any heat producing appliance. (Fig. 12) • NEVER fill the cylinder beyond 80% full.

Ö Ö NOTE: Use a large piece of cardboard or a ground cloth to protect the painted finish on the grill. Ö Ö NOTE: The base pieces are assembled up-side- down in this step. Step 1 1-A Center Base Right Base Lef t Base (TN) M6 x 15mm Screw (8) Qty . Hardware shown actual size 1-B 1-B .
Ö Ö Carefully turn the assembly Right-Side-Up. Ö Ö Engage the Locking Casters to prevent movement during the rest of the assembly process. Step 2 9 2-A 2-B 2-A . Assemble the Cylinder Retaining Bolt to the Cylinder Support. Ö Ö NOTE: On some models, the Cylinder Retaining Bolt is pre-installed by the factory .
10 Ö Ö Assemble one Rectangle Spacer to the Grill Cart. Ö Ö Assemble two small door magnets to the Cart Base. Step 4 4-A . Assemble one Rectangle Spacer between the Left and Right Panels using four Screws (TN). Assemble with the flange pointing down.
Ö Ö Assemble the Cart Spacer to the Grill Cart. Step 8 8-A . Assemble one Cart Spacer between the Left and Right Panels using four Screws (TN). Ö Ö NOTE: The Cart Spacer is assembled with the flange down. Ö Ö Tighten all fasteners. Hardware shown actual size (TN) M6 x 15mm Screw (4) Qty .
Step 9 9-A . Assemble the Rear Center Panel to the cart assembly using four Screws (TN). Ö Ö Tighten all fasteners. Hardware shown actual size (TN) M6 x 15mm Screw (4) Qty .
Step 10 13 10-A . Assemble two Rear Panels to the cart assem- bly using eight Screws (TN). Ö Ö NOTE: The Rear Panels are identical. Ö Ö Align the square holes on the Rear Panel with the tabs and push down to install the panels. Ö Ö Tighten all fasteners.
Ö Ö Assemble Firebox to the Grill Cart. Ö Ö NOTE: A second person is needed when aligning the Firebox to the Grill Cart. Step 12 12-A . Carefully place the Firebox onto the Grill Cart . Do not damage the Electrode Wires (see Fig. 7-B and 7-C). The Electrode Wires must be routed through the openings near the front and back of the Firebox.

Ö Ö NOTE: The Grill Lids must be opened for Step 16 and 17. Ö Ö Assemble Left Fryer Assembly to the Grill. Step 16 16-A 16-B 16-C 16-A . Raise the Grill Lids. Ö Ö Place the Left Fryer Assembly against the Firebox and on top of the Left Rear Panel.

Ö Ö Assemble the Fuel Hose Fitting from the Grill to the Fryer Assembly . Step 18 18-A Fuel Hose from Fryer Assembly 18-A . Assemble the Fuel Hose Fitting from the Grill to the Fryer Assembly . 18-B . Retract the Collar on the Quick Coupler before insert- ing the Male Hose Fitting.
Ö Ö Assemble the Electrode Wire to the Electrode T ip on the Side Fryer . Ö Ö Assemble the Grease Pan below the Fryer Burner . Step 19 19-A 19-A . Attach the Electrode Wire to the Electrode Tip on the Side Fryer . Electrode Tip Route Wires through the slot in the Fryer Panel.
Ö Ö Assemble Fryer Heat Shield. Step 20 20-A 20-A . Assemble Fryer Heat Shield. Ö Ö NOTE: Place the Fryer Heat Shield between the Fryer Panel and the Flexible Fuel Hose. Do not pinch Electrode Wires. Ö Ö Engage the two tabs on the Heat Shield downward into the rectangle holes.
Ö Ö Route the Electrode Wires under the Right Side T able. Ö Ö Note the location of the Electrode Module. Step 21 21-A 21-B 21-C 21-A . Route the Back Burner Electrode Wire through the Wire Support. Ö Ö Assemble the Electrode Wires and the Battery to the Electrode Module. Step 22 22-A Electrode Module Igniter Button Wires (Note: Large T abs) 9-V olt Battery T EST THE I GNITER : A SP ARK SHOULD APPEAR A T ELECTRODE TIP . I F THE SP ARK DOES NOT APPEAR : -C HECK THE WIRE CONNECTIONS TO THE MODULE .
Ö Ö Fasten the Rear T rim Plate to the Grill Cart. Ö Ö NOTE: On some models, the Rear T rim Plate is pre- installed by the factory . (VP) Self T apping Screw (2) Qty . Hardware shown actual size 23-A 23-A . Fasten the Rear T rim Plate to the Firebox with two Screws (VP).
24-A Hardware shown actual size (XR) M5 x 15mm Flat Head Screw (8) Qty . Ö Ö Fasten both Left and Right Doors to the Grill Cart. Ö Ö Attach the T ool Hook to the Right Door . 24-B . Fasten the Right Door to the Grill Cart with four Flat Head Screws (XR).
25-A Ö Ö Fasten the Door Handles to the Doors. Ö Ö NOTE: M4 x 5mm Screws are factory installed into the Handles. Step 25 Hardware shown actual size (EZ) M4 X 5mm Screw (4) Qty . EZ (x2) DOOR HANDLE RIGHT DOOR 25-A . Fasten one Door Handle to the Right Door with two Screws (EZ).
26-B 26-C . Install four Cooking Grates with the three cross bars on the bottom. 26-C 26-B . Install four Heat T ents™ over the Burners. Ö Ö The Heat T ents™ are located using the alignment pins. 26-D . Place the W arming Racks in the back of the Firebox.
Ö Ö Assemble two Grease Cup Supports to the Grease Pan. Note: The Grease Pan is shown up-side-down during this step. 28-A (VP) Self T apping Screw (4) Qty . Hardware shown actual size VP (x4) Grease Cup Support Note: Lip is up. 28-A . Attach each Grease Cup Support to the Grease Pan with two self-tapping screws (VP).
Step 30 Ö Ö Fasten one Door Handle to the Sliding Drawer . Ö Ö NOTE: M4 x 5mm Screws are factory installed into the Handle. Ö Ö Install the Sliding Drawer and Front Cover Panel onto the Grill. Hardware shown actual size (EZ) M4 X 5mm Screw (2) Qty .
31-C TN (x2) 31-C . Attach the Left Support Bracket to the metal side panel using two Screws (TN), two Flat W ashers (DY) and two Hex Nuts (UO). Lef t Mount Bracket NOTE I F YOU ARE INST ALLING THE SHORT SPIT ROD FOR USE ON THE RIGHT BURNER , PROCEED WITH STEP 32.
32 32-C Push Button to Remove Rotisserie Handle 32-C . When using the SHORT SPIT ROD, remove Handle immediately after placing Rotisserie into the Firebox. Since the handle is inside the Firebox, damage will occur if the Handle is not removed prior to cooking.
33 34-A Step 34 Ö Ö Attach the Grill Cover . 34-B 34-C 34-A . Open the bottom door . Lay the Grill Cover on the ground in front of the Grill with the zipper on top. Attach the bottom edge to the grill base using snaps provided. 34-B . Close the bottom door .
Ö Ö Attach an LP Cylinder to the Grill. 35-A Cylinder Support LP Cylinder 35-A . Set LP Cylinder in the Cylinder Support with the outlet valve facing toward the front of the grill. 35-B 35-B . T ighten the Cylinder Retainer Bolt against the bottom cylinder collar .
Ö Ö NOTE: Step 36 applies to you only if your grill is set up from the factory to use NA TURAL GAS. If your grill is set up from the factory to use LP GAS, skip back to Step 35. Step 36 P LACE THE RUBBER PLUG ONT O THE GAS SUPPL Y LINE . T HEN A TT ACH THE SOCKET END OF THE QUICK DISCONNECT COUPLING ONTO THE GAS SUPPL Y LINE .
1. Check that the cylinder valve is closed by turning the cylinder knob clockwise to a full stop. 2. Check that all the grill burner knobs are in the off position. 3. Remove the protective caps from the cylinder valve and cou - pling nut. NOTE: The coupling nut connect s to the large outside threads on the valve outlet.
CAUTION Inspect the gas supply hoses before each use. If there are cuts, damage, excessive abrasion or wear , replace the hoses prior to operating the appliance.
Lighting Main Burners CAUTION DO NOT touch hot grill p arts with bare hands! Y ou MUST use protective gloves. CAUTION Be certain the gas is shut of f at the L.P . cylinder valve anytime the grill is not in use. 1. T urn all burner control knob(s) to off.
Good Bad Y ellow Blue Holes in Burner Y ellow Blue 21 Grilling T ips and Hints Follow These Step s: 1. Shut of f gas at the burner valve(s) and stay away! 2. Allow the fire to burn itself out. 3. Once the fire is out and the appliance has cooled, shut of f the L.
Step s For Cleaning V enturi: 1. Remove burner from grill bottom. 2. Look inside lower end of venturi tubes for nests, webs or mud. 3. T o remove the above obstructions, use an accessory flexible venturi brush or bend a small hook on one end of a 20-inch- long flexible wire such as the one shown in Fig.
CAUTION A collision with the grill, as with any metal object, could cause injury . Use care when moving a portable gas grill. W ARNING If the grill is not in use, the gas MUST be turned of f at the fuel supply cylinder . Moving and Storage T roubleshooting DANGER NEVER attempt to operate your grill without orifices in the valves.
