5 UK 8 Off hook/handsfr ee In idle / predialing mode : Pr ess to make a call. Press again to turn on the speakerphone. In redial list / call list / contacts entry: Pr ess to make a call to the selected entry in the list. Press again to turn on the speakerphone.

20 11.4.4 Change the dial mode Y ou should normally leave the dial mode at its default setting of “TONE” (also called DTMF) unless the phone is connected to an old exchange that only recognises “PULSE” dialling. Note: If PULSE dialling is set, you can press the * key to switch to “TONE” dialling for the r est of that call.
