• NEVER store a spare LP cylinder under or near the appliance or in an enclosed area. • Never fill a cylinder beyond 80% full. • An over filled or improperly stored cylinder is a hazard due to possible gas release from the safety relief valve.
WARNING If “growing” bubbles appear do not use or move the LP cylinder . Contact an LP gas supplier or your fire department! Connecting Regulator to the LP Cylinder 1. LP cylinder must be properly secured onto grill. (Refer to assembly section.) 2.
6. T urn the coupling nut clockwise and tighten to a full stop. The regulator will seal on the back-check feature in the LP cylinder valve, resulting in some resistance. An additional one-half to three-quarters turn is required to complete the connection.
WARNING For Safe Use of Your Grill and to Avoid Serious Injury: • Do not let children operate or play near grill. • Keep grill area clear and free from materials that burn. • Do not block holes in sides or back of grill. • Check burner flames regularly .
Burner Flame Check • Remove cooking grates and flame tamers. Light burners, rotate knobs from HIGH to LOW . Y ou should see a smaller flame in LOW position than seen on HIGH. Perform burner flame check on sideburner , also. Always check flame prior to each use.
Cleaning the Burner Assembly Follow these instructions to clean and/or replace parts of burner assembly or if you have trouble igniting grill. 1. Turn gas off at control knobs and LP cylinder. 2. Remove cooking grates and flame tamers. 3. Remove screws and carryover tubes from rear of burners.
Indirect Cooking Poultry and large cuts of meat cook slowly to perfection on the grill by indirect heat. The heat from selected burners circulates gently throughout the grill, cooking meat or poultry without the touch of a direct flame.

14 • 463460708 ASSEMBL Y – Model No. 463460708 1 Attach the two locking casters at the rear of the bottom shelf and the two non-locking casters at the front .
4 3 463460708 • 15 Insert wire ends on tank exclusion shelf into bottom shelf (A) . Attach with two #8-32x3/8" screws diagonally . T ighten two #8- 32x3/8" screws at the back of tank exclusion wire first (B) . Line up the front of tank exclusion wire to holes in top brace and secure with two #8-32x3/8" screws and #8-32 flange nuts.
16 • 463460708 5 6 T wo #8-32x3/8" machine screws are installed partially in the cart side panel. Slide door hinges onto the screws as shown. Secure right door with four #8-32x3/8" machine screws . Repeat assembly for left door . #8-32x3/8" machine screw This step requires two people to lift and position grill head onto cart.
463460708 • 17 Mount fascia onto side shelf using three #10-24x1/2" screws , 5mm lock washers and 5mm flat washers (A) . Hang side shelf on tabs mounted on the firebox. Secure shelf brackets to cart side panel using two 1/4-20x1/2" screws , fiber washers and 1/4-20 flange nuts on each bracket (B) .
9 Place drip pan onto sideburner shelf. Secure with #10-24x 1/2" screws, insulation washers , 5mm flat washers, 5mm lock washers , #10-24 hex nuts, #10-24x 1/2” screws, 5mm lock washers, 5mm flat washers and side burner lid supports. 18 • 463460708 10 Remove two #8-32x3/8" screws from sideburner valve bracket.
12 463460708 • 19 11 Insert sideburner into sideburner drip pan (A) , make sure burner tube engages with sideburner valve. Illustration (B) shows correct burner-to-valve engagement. Center stud on bottom of sideburner fits into center hole in sideburner drip pan.
20 • 463460708 13 Place four flame tamers over burners by inserting tabs into slots in front of firebox. Opposite ends of flame tamers rest on pins in back of firebox. Flame tamer B ack of firebo x Flame t a mer Front of firebox 14 Place cooking grates into grill bottom.
463460708 • 21 T o assemble Swing A way , first insert pivot wire into holes in side of grill lid. Second, insert leg wires into holes in sides of grill bottom. 15 Pivot wire Swing Away Leg wire Hang grease cup wire from bottom of firebox and place grease cup into grease cup clip.
17 Unscrew ignitor cap and place AA battery into ignitor slot with positive end (+) facing outward. Screw ignitor cap onto ignitor . + – AA Battery Tank screw LP tank is sold separately. Fill and leak check the tank (see Use & Care section) before attaching to grill and regulator .
EMERGENCIES: If a gas leak cannot be stopped, or a fire occurs due to gas leakage, call the fire department. Emergencies Problem Gas leaking from cracked/cut/burned hose. Gas leaking from LP cylinder . Gas leaking from LP cylinder valve. Gas leaking between LP cylinder and regulator connection.
Troubleshooting ( continued ) Problem Burner(s) will not light using ignitor . (See Electronic Ignition T roubleshooting also) Burner(s) will not match light. Sudden drop in gas flow or low flame. Flames blow out. Flare-up. Persistent grease fire. Flashback.
