3 Befor e Using for the Fir st Time – Read the instructions car efully before installing and using the applianc e. – A fter unpacking the appliance, chec k that it is not damaged. In case of doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your supplier or a qualified engineer .

12 Defr osting Fr ozen F oods Only the oven fan comes on. Use with the thermostat knob set to “ ” - other positions hav e no effect. The food is tha wed by ventilation without heating. SC 5 1 0.. model: Set the function selector knob to . With the thermostat knob in the off “ ” position only the oven fan is on.
13 Maintaining T emper ature A fter C ooking or Slowly Heating F oods The upper heating element, the circular element and the fan c ome on. The heat is dispersed by f orc ed convection with gr eater intensity in the upper part. The temperatur e can be set to between 50 °C and 1 40 °C via the thermostat knob.
14 Cooking A dvice Not e: Depending on your model, your oven ma y only hav e some of these functions (see table at page no. 1 0). St erilization Sterilization of f oods to be conserved, in full and hermetically sealed jars, is done in the f ollowing way: a.
15 Roasting T o obtain classical r oasting, it is necessary to remember: – that it is advisable to maintain a temper ature between 1 80 °C and 200 °C. – that the cooking time depends on the quantity and the type of foods. Use of the Grill – Preheat the ov en for about 5 minutes with the door closed .
16 Clock and T imer with “T ouc h-Contr ol” K eys K eys and T ouched simultaneously (f or mor e than 2 seconds): – setting the clock; – setting the timer volume (by t ouching once, along with the “ ” key); – to cancel automatic c ooking at any time.
17 “T ouch-C ontrol” K eys The “touch-c ontrol” keys shall be oper ated by the fingers (just by touching the key). When using touc h contr ols it is best to use the ball of your finger r ather than the tip.
18 Aut omatic Cooking Use automatic cooking to aut omatically turn the oven on, cook, and then turn the oven off. 1 . Check the clock shows the c orrect time. 2. Select the function and temperatur e (function and temperatur e knobs). The oven will come on.
19 Electr onic Pr ogr ammer The electronic progr ammer is a device that groups together the following functions: – 24 hour clock with illuminated display – Timer (up to 23 hours and 59 minut es) – Programme f or automatic oven c ooking – Programme f or semi-automatic oven c ooking.
20 Electr onic Clock (fig. 8) The programmer is equipped with an electr onic clock with illuminated numbers which indicates hours and minutes. Upon immediate connection of the oven or after a pow er cut, three zer os will flash on the progr ammer display.
21 A U T O A U T O Aut omatic Ov en Cooking T o cook food aut omatically in the oven, it is necessary to: 1 . Set the length of the cooking time 2. Set the end of the cooking time 3. Set the temperatur e and the oven cooking progr am. These operations ar e done in the following way: 1 .
22 Semi - Aut omatic Cooking This is used to switc h the oven off automatically after the desired c ooking time has elapsed. There ar e two ways t o set the semi-automatic cooking function: 1 . Set the length of time you need to cook the food by pushing the button and the button to advance, or to go backwar ds (Fig.
23 Do’s and do not’s – Do always grill with the ov en door closed. – Do read the user instructions car efully before using the ov en for fir st time. – Do allow the oven to heat for one and a half hours, bef ore using for the first time, in order to expel any smell from the new ov en insulation, without the introduction of f ood.
24 Car e and Maintenanc e It is advisable to clean when the appliance is cold and especially for cleaning the enamelled parts. Av oid leaving alkaline or acidic substances (lemon juice, vinegar , etc.) on the surfaces. Av oid using cleaning products with a c hlorine or acidic base.
25 St ainless St eel, Aluminium, Paint ed Parts and Silk-scr een Printed Surfac es Clean using an appropriat e product. Alw ays dry thor oughly. Stainless steel surfaces: can be cleaned with an appropriate stainless steel cleaner . IMPOR T ANT : these parts must be cleaned very car efully to a void scr atching and abrasion.

28 Assembling and Dismantling of the Side R unner Fr ames – Assemble the wire r acks to the oven walls using the 2 scr ews (Fig. 1 7). – Slide the tr ay and rack into the runners (Fig. 1 8). The rack must be fitted so that the safety catch, which stops it sliding out, faces the inside of the oven.
29 Dr op-down Grill Element – T o lower the grill element: use a flat-head screwdriver or a small coin to loosen the element fixing screw . – When you have finished cleaning the oven ceiling, raise the grill element and screw the element fixing scr ew back onto the stud.
30 T elescopic Sliding Shelf Supports The telescopic sliding shelf supports make it safer and easier to insert and remov e the oven shelves and tr ays. They st op when they ar e pulled out to the maximum position. Important ! When fitting the sliding shelf supports, make sur e that you fit: – The slides to the top wir e of a rack.
31 1 2 1 T o remov e the telescopic sliding shelf supports: – Remove the side r acks by unscrewing the fixing scr ews (Fig. 22). – Lay down the telescopic sliding shelf support and side r acks, with the telescopic sliding shelf support underneath.
32 Ov en Door Remo ving the Ov en Door The oven door can easily be r emoved as follow s: – Open the door to the full extent (fig. 24a). – Open the lever A completely on the left and right hinges (fig. 24b). – Hold the door as shown in fig. 24.
33 Ov en Door - Remo vable Inner P ane of Glass Cleaning the Panes o f Glass The oven door is fitted with no. 2 panes: - no. 1 outside; - no. 1 inner; T o clean the panes on both sides it is necessary to remove the inner pane as follows.
34 Replacing the Inner P ane of Glass 1 . Make sure the door is loc ked open (see fig. 2 7). 2. Replace the inner pane: – Check that the f our rubber pads are in plac e ( D in Fig. 30). – Models SV1 00.. and SV1 50.. only: Check that you are holding the pane the corr ect way.
35 Ov en Door - Remo vable Inner and Middle Panes o f Glass Cleaning the Panes o f Glass The oven door is fitted with no. 3 panes: - no. 1 outside; - no. 1 inner; - no. 1 in the middle. T o clean all panes on both sides it is necessary to r emove the inner and the middle panes as follows.
36 3. Remo ve the Middle P ane: – Gently unloc k the middle pane of glass fr om the bottom clamps by moving it as in fig. 42. – Gently lift the bottom edge of the pane (arrow 1 in fig. 43) and r emove it by pulling it out from the top clamps (arr ow 2 in fig.
37 Replacing the Middle and Inner P anes of Glass 1 . Make sure the door is loc ked open (see fig. 38). 2. Replace the middle pane: – Check that the f our rubber pads are in plac e (M in fig. 44). – Check that you are holding the pane the corr ect way .
38 3. Replace the Inner P ane: – Check that the four rubber pads ar e in place (D in fig. 4 7). – Check that you are holding the pane the corr ect way. Y ou should be able to r ead the wor ding on it as it faces you. – Insert the pane in the left E and right F slide guides (fig.

45 Connection o f the P ow er Supply Cable Unhook the terminal boar d cover by inserting a scr ewdriver into the tw o hooks “ A ” (fig. 59). Open the cable gland by unscr ewing screw “F” (fig. 60), unscrew the terminal screw s and remove the cable.
