10 Hard w are Reset The Reset Butt on can be used t o reboot the cam era or restore it to facto ry default settings. If the camera experiences a problem, rebooting the camer a may correct the problem. If the problem rem ains, please r estore the cam era to factory default settings and reinstall the software.

14 5.3 Camera Connection Basic Connection (Without PoE) T o attach external devices, such as se nsors and alarms, connect them t o the extension I/O terminal block. Connect the camera to a switch using an Ethernet cable. Connect the supplied power cable to the camera and plug it into a power outle t.
15 If using a non-PoE sw itch : Use a standard RJ-45 cable to connect the camera to a PoE Injector . Use a standard RJ-45 cable to connect the PoE Injector to the non-P oE switch. Use a standard power cable to connect the PoE Injector to a power outlet.
16 In the Install Shield W izard dialog box, click <Next> to continue. Read the En d-User License Agreement a nd check t he option “I accept the terms of t he license agreement”.
17 Select either “Complete” setup or “Custom” setup to install the system. If COMPLETE SETUP is selected: All program fe atures will b e installed into th e default directory.

19 To launch EasyConfig or PC-NVR Standard, select the applicatio n and cl ick <Finish>. W hen la unching the PC-NVR program, please refer to the PC-NVR user manual.
20 Select the features to install. Click <Next> to continue. Click < Change> to c hange t he appointed f older where installation and program f iles will be stored.
21 Select programs to create shortcuts. Click <Next> to continue. The installation information will be displayed. Click <Next> to continue.
22 T o launch EasyConfig or PC-NVR S tandard, sel ec t t he application and click <Finish>. W hen launching the PC-NVR progra m, please refer to the P C-NVR user manua l. EasyConfig T o launc h E asyConfig, select EasyConfig from the start menu.
23 If Custom Setup t ype was us ed in the software installation and an EasyConfig icon was not installed on the desktop, the program will be installed under C:Program FilesBrickcomEasyConfig unless the program was saved to a preferred directory . Click < S tart> to continue.
24 Select either “Simple Mode” o r “Pr ofessional Mode” to obtain the camera’s IP settings. I f “Simple Mode” is selected, EasyConfig will set up the connec tion automatically . If “Professional Mode” is selected, the user will need to configure the IP settings manually .
