w w w .a ct i. co m Hardware Manual 15 Installing the Camera on a Surface This section describes the procedures in installing the camera on a fla t surface such as a hard or dropped ceiling and stra ight or tilted walls. Before i nstallation, mak e sure the wall or ceiling can bear more than the weight of the cam era.
w w w .a ct i. co m Hardware Manual 16 Step 2: Open the Dome Cover NOTE: T o avoid scratches or leaving fingerpri nts on the dom e cover , it is recom mended to retain the plastic covering the dome c over until the camera is completel y installed.

NOTE: Do not abrupt ly lift the dom e cover; it is attached to the cam era with a spring wire. 4. If connecting other input/outp ut devices or an external power adapt er , pull the cab les through the flex c onduit without connectors . The terminal block s will be attached once the cables p ass through the cam era hole later .
