User manual Dishwasher ZDI 200.

Safety information In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, in- cluding its hints and warnings.
Installation • Check your dishwasher for any transport damage. Never connect a damaged ma- chine. If your dishwasher is damaged con- tact your supplier. • All packaging must be removed before use. • Any electrical and pl umbing work required to install this appliance must be carried out by a qualified and competent person.

IMPORTANT! It is po ssible to selec t a washing progra mme and the d elay start a lso with the door slightl y opened. I n this case the start o f the programme or th e countdown will occur after the cl osure of the door . Until that moment it is possible to mo dify the set m ade.

When using tablets that integrate rinse aid, detergent, salt function and other additives: there is no need to fill up with special salt or rinse aid. Check whether these detergents are suitable for your water hardness. Follow the manufac- turers instructions .

• The di shwasher must be s witched off. Switch on the dishwasher b y pressing the On/Off button. • Press and hold s imultaneously fu nction buttons B and C until the lights of function buttons A , B and C start flashing.
Remove any trac e of salt. Replace th e cap tightly turning it cl ockwise until it stops with a click. IMPORTANT! Immedia tely start a co mplete progra mme. IMPORTANT! Water will overflow from th e container as salt is add- ed. IMPORTANT! Top up the special salt when the light on the control panel illuminates.
Adjusting the dosage of rinse aid Increase the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes after washing. Reduce the dose if there are whitish streaks on the dishes or a bluish film on glassware or knife blades. Open the lid. Set the dosage level.
For washing in the dishwa sher the following cutlery and dishes are not suitable: are of limited suitabilit y: • Cutlery with wooden, horn , china or mother-of- pearls handle s. • Plasti c items that a re not heat resis tant. • Older cutlery wi th glued parts tha t are not temper - ature resist ant.
Load upper ba sket. Light items (p lastic bowl s etc.) must be loa ded in the up- per basket and arra nged so they do not move. For taller items, the cup racks can be fo lded up- wards.
Use of detergent IMPORTANT! Only use detergents suitable for dishwashers. Observe the manufacturer’s dosing and stor- age recommendations. Open the lid. Fill in the deterg ent in compartmen t A . Observe the dosin g lev- els. For programmes with prewash add an addition- al detergent do se in com- partment B .
Care and cleaning Cleaning the filters IMPORTANT! NEVER use the dishwasher without filters. In- correct repositioning and fitting of the filters will produce poor washing results. Clean filt ers A , B and C thoroughly under running water. Turn the handle about 1/4 turn anticlockwise an d remove filters B and C .

WARNING! The electrical cable for the safety valve is in the double-walled water inlet hose and is live. Therefore do not immerse the water inlet hose or the safety valve in water. Take care when installing the water inlet hose . Place the water inlet hose in such a way that it is always lower than the bottom edge of the safety valve.
Electrical connection CAUTION! Safety standards require the appliance to be earthed. Prior to using the appliance for the first time, ensure that the rated voltage and type of supply on the rating plate match that of the supply where the appliance is to be installed.
