13 USB Connection This player is a mass storage device. It does not need driver installation for PC connection. However for W indows 98SE OS, it needs to install the driver . Obtain the W indows 98SE driver from the following websites: www .verbatim-europe.
14 Intr oduction to basic functions Power on/off Power on A SD/MMC card has to be inserted into the device before long pressing”Menu” key to start it. When powered on, it enters “Play mode”. Please preload song to the card fi rst. Power off Long press”Menu” key under the ST OP status, the device will be shut down automatically .
15 System setting Play function setting V arious settings are available under stop, play/pause mode. Under the ST OP status, short press “Menu” key to enter menu, including Memory , EQ, Repeat, L yric, Contrast, Power of f, Backlight, Upgrade OS and V ersion etc.
16 Contrast setting Y ou can set the contrast of LCD. Short press “Left” / “Right” key to increase/decrease the contrast of LCD. Short press “Play” key to save change and return.
