1. The ductwork of the ex isting he ating system ca n be used to suppl y air to the home.
The remot e control s of the Ultra-Air e XT150H are powered b y a low voltage circ uit (24 Vac) and must NEV ER contact or be co nnected to a high voltage cir cuit. The control w ires leaving the Ultra -Aire XT150H an d the rem ote contr ol panels are numb ered and color - coded to prevent c onfusion.

3.4E Ins tallatio n in an Attic with an Existing Forced Air HV A C System AL WA YS install a catch pan with a drain a nd/or float in terrupt switch for c ondensate und er the Ul tra-Aire XT150H in an attic to reduce li klihood o f water damage. Locate a separate return for the Ultra-Aire XT150H in a central area of the structure.

6. Main tenance 6.1 Stan dard Air Filter The Ultra -Aire XT1 50H is eq uipped wi th a pleated cl oth air fi lter . This filte r should be checke d every six mon ths.

5. Remove fan /bracket assembly b y removin g 3 screw s from the brack et and in let ring assembly . 6. Remove the defectiv e impeller fan from the brac ket and replace w ith it wi th the ne w impelle r fan. 7. Reassemble the new impeller f an by rev ersing th e above procedure .
7. Evacuate the s ystem wit h a good vacuum pu mp and ac curate vacuum ga uge. L eave the pum p on the system fo r at least an hour . 8. Operate the sy stem for a short p eriod of time, monitoring the suction p ressure t o determi ne that the suction fil ter is no t becoming plugged.
The pump also cont ains a sa fety float switch . The white leads from this switch exte nd from b eneath the pu mp cover . Th is switch should be installe d in seri es with t he field w ire that conn ects the blue (#5) lead fro m the Ult ra-Aire X T150H to the blue (#5) lead on the contr ol panel.
