When this key is pressed, the type of information currently displayed is shown for two seconds.

12 T ASCAM CD-200i 2 − Name s and F unc ti ons of P ar ts SHU FFLE (CD a nd iPod ) The SHU FFLE indicator appears during shuffle playback mode. If the output source is an iPod, this indicator lights during song shuffle playback and blinks during album shuffle playback.
T ASCAM CD-200i 13 2 − Name s and F unc ti ons of P ar ts Remote c ontrol unit ( RC - CD 20 0i ) Num er ic keys (CD) Use the numeric keys to select tracks by their track numbers (See “Selecting by track number” on page 23.) A track number can have a maximum of two digits for audio CDs and a maximum of three digits for data CDs.

16 T ASCAM CD-200i 3 − Prep ar ati on for Use Connecting an iPod with the iPod dock on the front panel allows the unit to output the sound of music and video playback from the iPod, as well as to control and recharge the iPod. Always attach a dock adapter suitable for your iPod to the connector .

20 T ASCAM CD-200i 3 − Prep ar ati on for Use Changing the output sound source For the audio signal output by this unit, the CD playback sound, the playback sound of the iPod connected to the iPo d dock or the sound input through the AUX IN jack can be selected.
T ASCAM CD-200i 21 4 − P la yi ng Back C Ds Discs that c an be play ed This unit can play the following types of files and discs. CD - DA ( audio CD) format discs ª Music CDs that are commercially available and CD-R and CD-R W discs that have been recorded as audio CD format can be played.
22 T ASCAM CD-200i 4 − P la yi ng Back C Ds Loading a CD T o load a CD, press the OPEN/CL OSE key on the main unit or on the remote control to open the disc tray , and put the CD into the tray with the label facing up. Press the OPEN/ CLOSE key again to close the disc tray .
