930484 Rev . A 39 3. On/Off Mode switch (A) The on/off mode switch is located on the rear face of the jo ystick housing. It is a toggle switch. T urning the chair on or off, is accomplished by pr essing the switch downward. The switch will automatically return to the center point.

They contain a finite amount of energy and hav e limits on how long they can store and suppl y energ y . • Y ou can charge batteries only a certain number of times befor e they will fail and no longer hold a charge.
930484 Rev . A 43 1. Attach battery harness to batter y post. Connect red to positiv e terminal and black to negative terminal. 2. Tighten all terminal fasteners using tw o wrenches. 3. Co ver batter y posts with insulating caps on harness. 4. Lift batteries into battery well.
