2 Sun Fire X4150 Server Embedded Lights Out Manager Administration Guide • September 2007 Sun Fir e X4150 server ELOM Features The ELOM provides a dedicated system of hardwar e and supporting software that enables you to manage your server independent of an operating system, and in low- power situations.
Chapter 1 Sun Fire X4150 ser ver ELOM Ov er view 3 Sun Fir e X4150 server Default Settings Sun has configur ed the SP contr oller and SP firmwar e on your server to use the most common default settings. It is unlikely that you will need to change any of these defaults.
