12 MZ-R909 Operation in Setting the T est Mode • When the test mode becomes activ e , f irst the display check mode is selected. • Other mode can be selected from the display check mode. • When the test mode is set, the LCD repeats the follo wing dis- play .
13 MZ-R909 Configuration of T est Mode Manual Mode Mode to adjust or check the operation of the set by function. Normally , the adjustment in this mode is not executed. Howe ver , the Manual mode is used to clear the memory , po wer supply adjustment, and laser power c heck before performing automatic adjustments in the Overall Adjustment mode.
14 MZ-R909 Self-Diagnosis Result Displa y Mode This set uses the self-diagnostic function system in which if an error occurred during the recording or playing, the mechanism control block and the po wer supply control block in the microcomputer detect it and record its cause as history in the non volatile memory .
