29 GB Getting Started 6: Prepar ing the re ceiver and the re mote If your receiver and po wer amplifier has a voltage selec tor on the rear panel , check that the volt age selector is set to the l ocal power supply voltage.
30 GB Before using the receiver for the first time, initiali ze the recei ver by pe rforming th e following pro cedure. Thi s procedure can also be used to return settin gs you have made to their factory defa ults. Be sure to use the bu ttons on the receiver for this opera tion.
31 GB Getting Started 7: Calibrating the appropriate settings automatically (AUTO CALIBRA TION) The DCAC (Digital Cinema Auto Calibration) function allows you to perform auto matic calibratio n such as: • Checking the connect ion between each speaker and t he receiver.
