5 -GB Enjoy your A TRAC CD Walkman! What is an A TRAC CD? An A TRAC CD is a CD-R/R W on which audio data compressed in the A TRA C3plus/A TRA C3 format has been recorded. About 30 audio CDs* can be recorded on a CD-R/R W . Y ou can also record MP3 files by con verting the files to the A TRA C3plus/A TRAC3 format.

T o use the play list function, record MP3 files on a CD-R/R W using encoding software that supports the m3u format.

22 -GB Emphasizing the bass sound (SOUND) Y ou can emphasize the bass-boosted sound. Press SOUND to select “B ASS ” o r “BASS .” “BASS ” enhances the bass sound more than “BASS .” Note If the sound is distorted when using the SOUND function, turn down the v olume.
23 -GB Protecting your hearing (A VLS) The A VLS (Automatic V olume Limiter System) function keeps do wn the maximum v olume to protect your hearing.
