Copyright 2006 © AZiO Corp. – www.aziocorp.com 9 Installing a 3.5” Hard Drive 1. Configure your IDE Hard Drive as a Master (Does not apply for SATA Hard Drives) Your IDE drive has a jumper black at the back (situate d between the ATA interface connector and the power connector).

Copyright 2006 © AZiO Corp. – www.aziocorp.com 11 Open the drive kit by carefully re move the top cover from the body chassis. Warning: When handling the opened kit, never touch the PCB (printed circuit board). It conta ins sensitiv e electronics that can be easily damaged.
Copyright 2006 © AZiO Corp. – www.aziocorp.com 12 3. Install the Hard Drive into the Drive Kit The Drive Kit PCB contains the interface connector and the power cable. Orient your 3.5” har d drive so that the drives connector s are aligned with the interface connector an d the power cable.

If this is not the ca se, format the Driv e according to the instructions in the section “Formatting the Drive” and then return to this section.

Once the installation is complete, you will see th e message “Windows has finished installing the software…” C lick Finish and then eject the CD.

Right-click on the drive, ma ke a new partition and format the drive. NOTE: Be sure to select the correct drive as partitioning and/or formatting will wipe out al l the data on t he disk.
