Its purpose, aside from recom mending s tandard operating procedures and routine service r equirements, is to promote SAF ETY through the use of ac cepted oper ating pr actic es .
6 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 PRE-STA RT CHECK LIST Make the following chec ks and perf orm the service required bef ore each start-up. 2.1.1. Check tires and add or release air as needed to bring pressure to 12 psi in front and 12 psi in r ear tires.
7 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS IMPORT A NT : To roll the machine without the engine running, pressure within the hydraulic pumps must be released. Tilt seat up and mov e control lever dow n to release pressure. NOT E: Control lever mu st be in the “UP” position to drive machine.

IM PORTANT: W hen positioning the cutting deck into a higher cutting position, pull up on the deck lift handle only, it is not necessar y to pull up on the release lever at the same tim e.

Contact a local SNAPPER dealer for parts and service ass istance. For the c or rec t par t or inf orm ation f or a par tic ular m ower, alway s m ention the model and s erial number.

Squeez e the deck lift handle and the releas e lever and lift the dec k lift handle until it loc ks in the top notch which is the high cut/tr ansport position. b. Remove r etaining knobs located at the c orners of f ootrest.

ADJUSTING M OWER BLADE The s traightness of the m ower blade(s) is essential for sm ooth, even mowing.

Never attemp t to service or charge the battery while it is installed on the YA RD CRUISER.
21 Section 4 - A DJUSTMENTS & REPA IR 4.5.5. BA T TERY TEST ING There are two types of battery tests: Unloaded and Loaded. The unloaded tes t is the pr oc edure that will be disc ussed. It’s the s implest and m ost com monly used. An unloaded test is m ade on a battery w ithout discharging c urrent.
