Installation instructions 6 CONNECTING TO THE WATER SUPPLY Connect the intake hos e to a cold water su pply with ¾” gas thread, inserting the filter A suppl ied with the dishwasher. Take care to screw the hose firmly into place w ith your hands and th en complete b y tightening ab out ¼ of a turn w ith pliers .
Installation instructions 7 2.2 Electrical connection and precautions CHECK THAT THE VOLTAGE AND THE FREQUENCY OF THE MAINS MATCH THE RATINGS ON THE NAME PLATE OF THE APPLIANCE POSITIONED ON THE INNER EDGE OF THE DOOR. THE PLUG ON THE SUPPLY CORD AND THE CORRESPONDING SOCKET OUTLET MUST BE OF THE SAME TYPE AND MEET THE REGULATIONS IN FORCE.

User instructions 11 3.2 Washing programs The dish washer is equipped with a control pa nel, describ ed in chapter "3. Description of the controls", from which it is possible to carr y out all the power switch-on, s witch-off and programming operati on s.
User instructions 12 PROGRAMMING All programming oper atio ns are only possi ble with the door closed . To select a new program, the dish washer must be in the " Program start " state describe d above. T urn the PROGRAM SELECTOR (5) to the program of your choice (se e " P ROGR A MS T AB L E ").
User instructions 13 TO CHAN GE A PROGRA M To change the running pr ogram it is necessa ry: • to interrupt the running progr am (see “ I NTERRUPTION OF A PROGRA M ”); • select the new program; • to press again the ST ART/PAUSE button (3) to make start the ne w program.
User instructions 14 TO SAVE ON ENERGY! … AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT • Always try to run the dishwas her fully loaded . • Do not wash the dishes in runnin g w ater. • Use the washing program that is most appropriate for each type of load. • Do not carry out any preliminary rinsing.
User instructions 15 4. Operating instructions Once the dishwash er has been correctl y installed, prepa re for use as follows: • Adjust the water softening system; • Add the regenerating salt; • Add the rinse aid and deter gent.
User instructions 16 • Do not use tab le salt as it contains insolubl e substances which, over time, may damage the water softening system. • When necessary, refill the r egenerating salt container before starting the washing prog ram .

User instructions 18 ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dis hes dry faster and prevents the formation of scale depos its and staining; it is automatic ally added to the water during the final rins e cycle, from the containe r situated on the inner side of the door.
User instructions 19 ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the detergent dispe nser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the deter gent and close the cap carefully.
User instructions 20 • The market o ffers liquid and pow der detergents with differin g chemical co mpositions, which may contain phosphates , or be phosphate-free but contai n natural enzymes . - Detergents containin g phosphates are more effectiv e against grease and starch at tempera tures above 6 0°C .
User instructions 21 4.3 General warnings and recommendations Before using the dis hwasher for the first time, it is advisab le to read the following reco mmendations concerning d ish types to b e washed an d their loading.
User instructions 22 Items which are not d i shwash er-safe: • Wooden dishes, p ots or pans: these may be dama ged by the high washing temperatures. • Handcrafted items: these are rarely suita ble for washing in a dishwasher. The relative ly high water temperatur es and the detergents used may da ma ge them.
User instructions 23 4.4 Using the baskets The dish washer has a capacity of 12 place-setting s , including serv ing dishes. LOWER BASKET The lower basket receives t he full force of the lower spray arm, and should therefore be used for the “t oughest” items with a heavier degre e of soiling.
User instructions 24 CUTLERY BASKET The basket has removable t op grids into which items of cutlery can be inserted to keep them proper ly spaced and allow water to pass bet w een them effectively. The cutlery su pports and central li d are in the ba g of accessories.
User instructions 25 LOADING THE UPPER BA SKET Load plates facin g forward; cups, bo wls etc. must alwa ys be facing downwards. The left side of the basket can be loaded with cups and glasses on t wo levels. In the centre section, plates a nd saucers can be loaded verticall y int o the supports provided.
User instructions 26 5. Cleaning and maintenance Before carrying out any work, a lways unplug t he appliance from the electrica l supply or switch off the all-pol e disconnection de vice. 5.1 General warnings and recommendations Avoid the use of acidi c or abrasi ve detergents.
User instructions 27 CLEANING THE FILTER UNIT • It is advisable to p eriodically ins pect the centre filter C and, if necessary, to clean it. T o remove the filter, grip the tabs, turn them anticloc.
