User instructions 1.2 Washing p rogram s The dishw asher is equipp ed with a control pan el, described in chapter "1. Descri ption of the co ntrols", fro m which it is po ssible to carry out all the power sw itch-on, sw itch-off an d programmi ng operations.
User instructions SELECTION PROGRAM The progra m selection i s possible through the rel ative buttons (2) . W he n the button rel ating to the progr am required is pressed, the relativ e light w ill come on to confir m the operation.

Installation instructions 2. Installation and hook-up Remove th e polystyrene basket retainer s. Position t he applian ce in the desir ed place of installation. T he back or sides o f the di shwasher may be placed up against w alls or other furniture u nits.
Installation instructions 2.1 Water supply conn ection Preventing the risk of clogging or damage: if the water pipe is new or has not been used for a long tim e, before connecting to the water supply check that the water is cl ear and free of impurities, to prevent damage to the appliance.

User instructions 3. Operating instructions Once the di shwasher ha s been correctly insta lled, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the w ater softening system; • Add the regenera ting salt; • Add the rinse a id and deter gent.
User instructions • Do not use table salt as it contains i nsoluble substances whic h, over time, m ay damage the w ater softenin g system. • When neces sary, refill the r egenerating salt conta iner befo re starting the washi ng program .
User instructions ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dishes dry faster and prevents the formatio n of scale deposits and staining; it is automat ically added to the water during the fin al rinse cyc le, from the cont ainer situated on t he inner si de of the door .
User instructions ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the de tergent disp enser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the detergent and close the cap carefully.

User instructions Items which are not dishwasher-s afe: • Wooden dishe s, pots or p ans: these may be damaged by the high wash ing temperatures . • Handcrafted items: these are rarel y suitable for wa shing in a dishwash er. The relati vely high w ater temperatures and the detergents us ed may damag e them.

User instructions LOWER BASKET The low er basket receiv es the full fo rce of the low er spray arm, and should theref ore be used f or the “toughest” items with a heavier degree of soiling.
User instructions CUTLERY BASKET The cutler y should be arr anged in an orderly manner inside the bas ket, with the ha ndles pointing downw ards. Take care during loadin g to avoid injury from t he knife blade s. The basket is suitabl e for all types of cutlery, except those long e nough to int erfere with the upper spray arm.
User instructions UPPER BASKET It is recom mended to lo ad the upper basket with small- or medi um-sized items s uch as gl asses, smal l plates, tea or coffee cup s, shallow bow ls and light object s made fro m heat resistant plastic.

The left-hand side of the bas ket can be loa ded with two layers o f cups and glasses. The centre can be filled w ith plates and s ide- plates, fitte d upright int o the supports pr ovided.
