About this Document This manual is intended for administrators and users of AXIS P3364-LVE Fixed Dome Network Camera, and is applicable to rmware 5.60 and later . It includes instructions for using and managing the product on your network. Previous experience of networking will be of use when using this product.
Photobiological Safety Battery Low battery power affects the operation of the RT C, causing it to reset at every power-up. See AXIS Media Control (AMC) on page 15 for more information. The toolbar displays the following buttons: The Play button connects to the Axis product and starts playing a media stream.

AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Set Up the Product Set Up the Product The Axis product can be congured by users with administrator or operator rights. T o open the product’s Setup pages, click Setup in the top right-hand corner of the Live View page.
AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Video and Audio Video and Audio The video and audio settings can be used to optimize video and audio quality . Y ou can congure the following: • Video stream settings. See page 19 . • Stream proles. See page 20 .
AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Video and Audio H.264 H.264, also known as MPEG-4 P art 1 0/A VC, is a video compression standard that provides high quality video streams at low bit rates. An H.264 video stream consists of different types of frames such as I-frames and P-frames.
AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Video and Audio To select a default stream prole for the Live View page, go to Setup > Live View Cong . Camera Settings The Video & Audio > Camera Settings page provides access to advanced image settings for the Axis product.
AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Video and Audio Shutter & Gain The shutter and gain settings affect the amount of motion blur and noise in the image. T o adapt to different lighting, available storage space and bandwidth, it is often necessary to prioritize either low motion blur or low noise.
AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Video and Audio Built-in IR Illuminations LEDs The IR illumination can be activated or de-activated, and its intensity can be increased or decreased by moving the slider , from the product’s Live View page. Other settings can be dened from Setup > Video & Audio > Camera Settings .
AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Video and Audio 2. T o include an overlay image, select Include overlay image at the coordinates . The overlay image must rst be uploaded to the Axis product, see Overlay Image . 3. T o include date and time, select Include date and Include time .
AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Video and Audio 3. T o control the image’s position, enter the X and Y coordinates. The X=0 and Y=0 position is the top left corner . If a part of the image is positioned outside the video image, the overlay image will be moved so that the whole image is visible.
AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Video and Audio To set focus and zoom: 1. Install the camera as described in the Installation Guide. 2. Go to Video & Audio > Focus & Zoom . 3. On the Basic tab , set the zoom level using the slider . The buttons < and > move the zoom position one step in either direction.

It is possible to disable the internal microphone by connecting a plug to the mic input. Select Microphone to use an external microphone or Line to use a Line in device, e.

Note Disabling PTZ controls will not affect preset positions. For example, if the tilt control is disabled, the product can still move to preset positions that require a tilt movement.
AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Detectors Detectors Camera T ampering Camera T ampering can generate an alarm whenever the camera is repositioned, or when the lens is covered, spray-painted or severely defocused. To send an alarm, for example an email, an action rule must be set up.

Changing the orientation of the camera will also change the position of the Motion Detection Window .

AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Events Events The Event pages allow you to congure the Axis product to perform actions when different events occur . For example, the product can start a recording or send an email notication when motion is detected.
AXIS P3364–L VE User Manual Events - Day/Night Mode – Trigger the rule when the product switches between day mode (IR cut lter on) and night mode (IR cut lter off). This can for example be used to control an external infrared (IR) light connected to an output port.
