3 Impor tant Safety Precautions • Cleaning—Unplug the AC cord from the AC outlet befor e cleaning the product. Use a damp cloth to clean the product. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. • Stand—Do not place the product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod or table.

7 Preparation Setting the TV on the wall • Y ou can mount the TV on the wall, using the optional AN-37AG2/AN-52AG1 bracket. • For details, r efer to the instructions supplied with the optional bracket. CA UTION • This TV should be mounted on the wall only with the AN-37A G2/AN-52AG1 (SHARP) wall mount brac ket.
8 Removing the speaker s The unit’ s speakers can be attached and removed. Before detac hing/attaching the speaker s • Before detaching (or attaching) the speakers, unplug the AC cor d from the AC outlet. • Remove all terminal covers and connected cables.
9 Pr otection against o ver turning There is a danger of the pr oduct over turning in the case of a disaster or sudden collision. Carr y out the following tip-resistant measur ement for your safety . 12 Preparation Connecting a Digital TV STB (Set T op Box) Y ou can use the INPUT 1/INPUT 2 (component) or INPUT 4/INPUT 5 (HDMI) terminal when connecting to a Digital TV STB and other audiovisual equipment. 44 Useful features T eletext function What is T eletext? T eletext broadcasts pages of information and entertainment to specially equipped television sets. Y our TV r eceives T eletext signals broadcast by a TV network, and decodes them into graphical format for viewing.

47 Appendix T roub leshooting Cautions regarding use in high and low temperature environments • When the unit is used in a low temperature space (e.g. room, office), the picture may leave trails or appear slightly delayed. This is not a malfunction, and the unit will recover when the temperature returns to normal.
