3 Important Safety Precautions • Cleaning—Unplug the AC cord from the AC outlet befor e cleaning the product. Use a damp cloth to clean the product. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. • Stand—Do not place the product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod or table.

5 Preparation Inserting the batteries Before using the System for the first time, insert two “AA” size batteries (supplied) into the remote contr ol. When the batteries become depleted and the remote contr ol fails to operate, replace the batteries with new “AA” size batteries.

10 First installation When you turn on the LCD TV set for the first time, the First installation routine, which makes installation easier, is activated. Using this routine, you can select the on-screen display language, and automatically search for and store all the receivable channels.
11 T urning the main power on and off Switching the TV/VIDEO (TV/A V1/A V2/A V3/COMPONENT) mode Turn on the power of the connected video equipment. Press b to select the applicable input source. The screen displays AV1, AV2, AV3, COMPONENT or TV mode each time b is pressed.
