Chapter 2 Getting Started This Chapter will start with the basic usage of A V er MediaCenter 3D, including scanning programs, playing music, recording a TV/ Radio program, and so on. Before using the application, it is necessary to understand all the basic operations in this chapter .
Getting Started 16 2.1 TV Under the TV main menu, you can e njoy watching TV , record your favorite program and so on. ¾ Scanning TV Channels If you didn’t run the setting up wizard, a dialog box will appear to prompt you to scan for cha nnels when selecting the main m enu “ TV ”.

If the EPG service is provided in your region/country , do the following to view the EPG in formation.

Getting Started 33 2. How 3D video signals are provided T o provide the images that the binocular vision requires, a technology calle d stereoscopic 3D is employed. T wo images with slightly dif ferent pe rspectives of a video frame are provided simultaneousl y , with one sent to the lef t eye and the other to the right eye.

The value of Depth Field that you choose alters the sharpness and focu s of the images represented on your PC screen, so the higher value you choose, the deeper of the image effect s the se e3D simulates.
